ZCC72 - have you thought about FE college lecturing? A lot easier to get in in the short term and you can qualify on the job. A lot of colleges will fund your training whilst you are at it. You could at least teach A level law, law on Business Studies HNDs and Btecs, etc.
Kaz - you count as a mature student so shouldn't have a problem with getting on a degree if that is what you want to do. Turn it round on its head though, find out what funding there is first. There are a lot of projects like 'women in logistics' that provide funding to get women into specific industries.
Valli - have some chocolate, write your complaint letter.

and hugs for everyone else. Lots going on on here today so sorry if I have missed anyone.

Kitchen has been S&S'd. I need to hoover downstairs and then I am done, apart from that HHI. I still haven't found the remains of the fish so they must have eaten it all between them. At least I hope so or it is going to start to smell soon  .

    HI all

Zcc72 ETA means Edited to add.

Well filled in some more applications forms but depressing when having to fill in past experience and am also struggling ads to who to put down as a reference.

I know it`s really hard. i had to put down husband as reference as had worked with him for 20 odd years. Also had to put long time friend and occaisional business partner. As with experience, Sell yourself girl ,you have loads to offer more I expect than most

OH has made it to the pub but only been there 5 minutes !!!! yeah right. Well I have been sat stewing long enough - too worried to fly, so maybe when he gets back he can sit and stew wondering where I am, although he will more than likely crash out on the sofa and be snoring when I do decide to come home.

    Catch ya later

Best wishes and thoughts to Pigpen's DS's GF & with your DD's friend Freedom.

:grouphug:'s to Leila, ZCC72 and anyone else who needs one.

All these stories puts my own in perspective. Do feel really down at times but know I couldn't do that to my family- even though I do think sometimes they would be better off without me (at least financially). Still haven't heard back from union. I have been thinking about becoming a counsellor- have a degree but wonder what the salary is like and where to train.

Have decluttered some of sky +. Still feeling rubbish (probably man flu) so it really is bad. :D Will crawl to the kitchen to make a cup of tea and then carry on decluttering stuff. Have to take monsters swimming tonight but won't be joining them. Wifey is off out celebrating a friends birthday so I can vege in front of the tv with goodies if I remember to pick some up ! :D
Divorce all finished- now to start saving for a better future!
