    You can train part time and hopefully still retain job

    Unfortunately, need job first to be able to retain it! Not much call for Property Lawyers in current climate.

    I am hoping to go back to Uni to retrain as an English Teacher BUT the system is daft....I have a Law Degree, but this is not "directly transferable", therefore I cannot do the PGCE, so the only option at my grand old age is to go back to Uni full time, and do a B.Ed, for which there are no grants.....

    any ideas?

    15 mins wallowing over. Time to fly, starting with bathroom......

    Anyone up for a HHC 12-12.30?

    I can sympathise ZCC72 - I work in Financial Services and Im finding it awful at work at the moment. My employer knows people wont leave because of the current job market in this industry. I would love to be able to give up work and retrain in another industry. But I cant afford to leave and go to college full time. My little one is only 7 and I only have my income.

    I just need to keep my eye on the job market and hope something else comes along. :rolleyes: xx

    aaaarrgghhh:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    I KNOW this is off topic BUT I need to moan at someone...
    I made a BT (dec 31st) to pay off two CCs and combine the debt into one (interest free).
    NEITHER BT has reached my CC account so I phoned, then wrote to the company who should have the debt now (company D). They say they made the BTs and IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT so now I am paying, B, C and D (neatly these are the initials of all companies concerned!)
    Company D have quoted in their letter, the wrong sort code for company C but the correct one for company B.
    I have phoned C then D to tell them. I have phoned B who tell me they can do nothing as D can recall the payment. But D say as far as they are concerned they made the trans, there isn't a problem at their end? B tell me they can do nothing - D must sort it.
    If I don't get a phone call sorting it today my next letter will be to the Financial Ombudsman Service...
    meanwhile I still have double the debt.
    :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
