Just got letter telling me I didn't get the job, and it has knocked me for 6. Interview went well, and I really wanted the job. After 15 years in Law, it seems I am over-qualified for some positions, or (where "competancy based" questions are used) have limited experience! Limited experience? Overqualified?

I will be re-training as a teacher *waits for all those at the chalk face to shout "run away now"* but need to earn a crust in the meantime!

Going to be difficult flying today, but am off to look at Fridays list now....

Hugs ZCC72 - dont you just hate it when you know you can do the job. I'm now thinking that I need to be retraining but for what, AND at my age and when I cant afford to give up my job
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

I had similar experience.. One interview in over a year of trying... Interview went really well and was asked size for uniform etc. Said they couldn`t wait to work with me. Was really excited and pleased as first interview in 15 years. They rang me two days later with aplogies but they had given the job to someone who had done it before in another area. Also said I was over qualified as had run own business for years. Take heart.. Hugs
