    Oh Dear....
ZCC72 so sorry to hear that. That's grotty, esp when you really wanted it. I hope something else comes up for you soon.
Kaz it's all relative, just because someone else might have it harder, doesn't lessen what you and the OH are going through. ((hugs)) and positive vibes for OH's meeting.
Pigpen That poor girl. What a mess. No wonder she's been dropped into your life.... hopefully you can give her some support. (((hugs)))
    Leilasorry you're feeling blue. (((hugs)))

    Friday list done Toots

Chatted to Nan on the phone who is home from hospital but not happy. I think she is suffering from the lack of company and the fact that it was so hot in hospital so she feels cold at home even with the heat on. I'll try and pop in there today but not sure when.

DS2 is no better - bit worried he has had tummy ache/felt sick since Sunday night now apart from yesterday when he was a lot better, might ring and see if I can speak to a GP.

I must pop out in a minute to get the rest of DS1 presents so be back later.

Pigpen - so sorry to hear about DS1 GF but I know you and DS will be a great source of suppor to her.

Kaz I hope all went well for your DH

Good luck for all of you embarking on new courses in life.

Just got letter telling me I didn't get the job, and it has knocked me for 6. Interview went well, and I really wanted the job. After 15 years in Law, it seems I am over-qualified for some positions, or (where "competancy based" questions are used) have limited experience! Limited experience? Overqualified?

I will be re-training as a teacher *waits for all those at the chalk face to shout "run away now"* but need to earn a crust in the meantime!

Going to be difficult flying today, but am off to look at Fridays list now....

My thoughts with DS'S GF PIGPEN and FREEDOMS DD'S FRIEND, I'm in tears here Crufts was playing the song footprints in the sand and it's just got me. My dad committed suicide when I was 13yrs so I really do understand it's terrible something that I have never completly got over.

I haven't done much flying I have been decluttering Crufts but I will get as much done as I can before the flyball starts

Thank you all so much for your kind words! Reading pigpens news puts things into perspective.

Used HHC wisely! Decided to vent my emotions on the bathroom - decluttered, put extra bottles in my "shop from home" basket, cleaned bath, shelves, tiles, sink and cleaned all items, including hairbrush! Euw....

Will get off now, have a crafty coffee, update HCJ then tick off remaining tasks. Getting all clear at home may help clear my mind for fresh job searches and Uni applications.

    p.s. What does ETA mean?
