lollyred, sorry to hear about your awful experience today and well done for contacting CS. I hope they will do something about the attitude of your SA's in particular and (some) SA's in general. It makes such a difference, I had 2 lovely SA's today who were willing to split transactions, try vouchers even if they didn't think they would work, and what's more, were pleased for me when they did, then politely told me one voucher wouldn't work. Why can't they all be like that, surely it makes their day more pleasant as well?
Rubylou  I've just rushed off to move my No7 mirror, thanks for the warning :T
Moyilla, ouch, poor little man(((((big hugs))))) for him

I did pop in to Boots today to see if I could pick up a couple more of the No7 Stay Perfect Compacts,
but they were oos in the colour I wanted. The SA kindly checked the price on the other colours and they were all back up to £6.xx.
Yesterday I was lucky enough to get 2 for just £1.16p and a perkie.
I have used mine today as a concealer, as the product offers greater coverage than some other foundations,
(which can be ageing..Oooh we don't want that ladies!). I only used it sparingly and I must say that the effect was really great.
I used the No7 Tinted moisturiser first then some of the Stay perfect dabbed on to the sponge from the compact.
Even though I used very little of the stay perfect, I really noticed the difference.
Any redness was reduced, skin tone looked over all more even and blemish free. :T
Now I just need to pick up a couple more in the same shade..
I don't mind paying £1.50 or so for each, after perkie, as I am really, really pleased.
Moyilla, was just checking my post and saw yours. Omg..your poor little DS. I do hope he will be ok.:)
Chazzy...Arrgh, must have been painful, poor you..hope you are ok too.0 -
Moyilla, what a shame for your poor ds, i once slammed a car door on my ds fingers and they were so badly squashed i ran straight up to a&e with him, by the time we got there they had straightened themselves out, so i took him back to school and he was fine. I know thats no where as serious as what happened to you but i remember that awful feeling i had in the pit of my stomach at the time._pale_0

Oh moy that is making me _pale_ just reading it. Hope he is ok.
I had a scary trip to boots, i was returning part of my gwp glitch .com order because 2 items were smashed and had leaked luckily they were in a clear plastic bag so it didn't go over everything else. The SA snapped at me What's wrong with them? you can only bring it back if it is faulty, Explained and she seemed ok to do it but then chaged her mind after looking at the invoice and went off to talk to the no 7 SA  She came back and said that the no7 sa had said it was ok for her to do it. She then asked me for my ad card but i didn't get any points for the order, It even said 0 points on the invoice, she insisted but i wouldn't give it her as it would have taken points away i didn't even get. She got very mardy and said well i can't do it as i don't even know how you paid, ive had enough i'm ringing .com up about this:eek:  and off she went back to the no 7 SA my cheeks must have been bright red by now. I followed her and said politely it says on the top how i paid. She read the invoice front to back and the return policy twice but with a bit of prompting she finally did it phew I said thank you and hurried out.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
Thanks everyone, I know it could have been worse but I feel terrible for him. Honest his screams will haunt me. You know the feeling you get when you go down a helter skelter or a dip inthe road? That's what I get when I think of it
I forgot there was lots of reductions on summer wear, flipflops £2.00, hats 50p - £1.00, glasses £3 and children's swimsuits £2.50 - Speedo I think?
Worth looking out for.0 -
jamsandwhich......
My hubby once left a bottle of sure roll on deodorant on the bathroom windowsill, the sun heated the bottle up and the rollerball flew out of it while he was shaving, hit a tile and cracked it. It went off like a gunshot and we both hit the deck - nearly wet ourselves laughing but it was a bit scary!!!
I'm sorry , but this made me LOL :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0
