Hi guys, I've been a member of Dooyoo for a coupla months now and was planning to wait until i hit the £50 mark before cashing out. I then discovered that you can buy GHDs on Amazon so cashed in 40000 points. does anyone know how long it normally takes to receive them? I've been waiting about 8 days now but haven't heard anything back? It shows up on my account that i've cashed them in. Thanks for any help! x

8 days isn't very long. I would give it a couple of weeks and then if you hear nothing contact a guide who will be able to check for you. Your voucher comes in the form of an email with a code in it so make sure you don't hastily delete everything and keep checking your spam folder as some providers filter stuff into it that shouldn't be there!

Hmm...apparently a member is going to read through all of my reviews to pick holes in them.
He started with my review of Camden High street and complained that I didn't comment on the kind of people who go there...I'm not sure what to say really because the people on Camden High Street are just like any other. I assume he was talking about the goths and punks who hang out at the lock and the markets (but rarely on the high street).
I'm not even going to bother reporting this one, he's far too amusing!

Glad to see you 2 are keeping each other busy and I'm glad you got a chance to respond to his comments. (I'm KK over on Dooyoo).

Sorry Brooke... I didn't actually mean to thank you for that post - but I think you're being a little over sensitive in this case - I read the comment - I didn't strike me at all as picking holes - only pointing out what he found remarkable about Camden. I don't think there's anything to report there.

The member even said he's nominated your review - I'm not sure what you're upset about?

Mattygrooves...that wasn't the problem. In a comment on his review he informed me that he was going to go through all of my reviews and pick holes in them. That was the post that he made after saying that.
    To quote the member:
"You often seem to be moaning about other people's reviews Brooke3. One day when I get a 1000 spare hours I'll have a read through all of your reviews and pick holes in them. It shouldn't be too difficult."

That's what I was talking about reporting, not his comments on my Camden High Street review. If he had made that comment without first informing me that he was going to pick holes in my reviews I wouldn't have thought anything of it, I would have thanked him for the nomination but as he is reading my reviews with the intention of picking holes in them it puts his comments in a new light, imo.

That's why I've given up explaining why I've rated a certain way, because of this sort of thing :(
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

Meh. I think you're making too much out of it, Brooke.

If people followed through on half the comments and PMs I've been given, my life would be thoroughly miserable (or it would be if I wasn't so bloody amazing).

People try to be clever. most of the time they fail. If he does read your reviews, he appaears to be raqting correctly, so you get lots of read rewards. Ch-ching!

Can someone explain the point of rating people's reviews. I just read and rated about 34 reviews and earned 30 dooyoo miles.. It hardly seems worth it, as it took quite a long time. I may as well spend the time writing reviews.
