    Hello, thanks for the answer Fenella. I did try and search for something like this, but didn't get much back on 'over 60's discount days' - I didn't think of using the word 'pensioner'!!

    It's true when they say that you lose your brain cells when you've just had a baby - I think it is actually due to lack of sleep!!

    Focus discount is on a Tuesday unless there is another DIY store nearby in which case the discount is every day.

    Free eyetests for failing sight, free prescriptions for all those forthcoming ailments, discount card to buy all those DIY items for the jobs you are no longer physically able to do. Free bus travel for the times of day there are infrequent buses after the "peak" period.
    Plus turning into a grumpy, cynical old git!!!:rolleyes: :D

    I wouldn't call it grumpy and cynical! More like,seen /heard it before? But I like the old git bit:D
    I bet the specs won't be free;) I hate diy and I get travel sick. OH BUG**R!!!!

    Worth having just for ID. If you visit somewhere and they offer a reduced price for the over sixtys. :)
