Thank you In Search of Me that is one of my all time feel good tunes - I hadn't heard it for ages even though I love it!

Forgot to mention.....COME ON IRELAND in the rugby, not that I have any intention of actually watching even a second of any rugby match, but you've got to be patriotic, LOL.

Aww Snowyowl what rotten little s*ds I can feel your anger from here - I would be feeling the same too

Well little DGD is on her way home from hospital as she drank all her bottle so I hope this is the turning point otherwise if she doesn't have 20oz fluid by tomorrow morning she will have to go back and be fed by a tube. Thanks for all your kind thoughts xxx

:hello: Stefejb - Enjoy your hike! Fibbonaci numbers - Crikey, I don't even know what they are now, let alone when I was twelve:eek:

    xx

for goodness sakes don't tell dd(12) - she will tell you at great length - i made that mistake ...... once!

hugs chrisca, *moggins*, PP, Snowy and anyone else feeling low

The walk was nice and i did it all - plus some as I got slightly lost along the way. The countryside is all very well but there is a distinct lack of loos and cups of tea - if you were cycling along the bridleway between Mapledurham and witchurch and saw my bum as i tried to do a discreet wee behind a bush I'm very sorry and hope it hasn't put you off your tea :o

I am totally knickered - went to get off the train and found that my hips had seized up. called dd(19) who lives near the station to put the kettle on and discovered that she's out having her nails done - the selfishness of young people these days.

the Weekend Chicken has morphed into a chicken salad sandwich and I've had a large vodka while waiting for the kettle to boil for a cup of tea. All of the above are going to accompany me for a loooooong bath with plenty of radox.

OS wise - there will be very little tonight

smokey - OMG that's lbeautiful! well done with the headstone - sounds like it's going to be lovely

    have a good evening all

  • Evening chums ,
very stressful day yesterday, but today was a lot easier.Went to Excel to a craft exhibition with some friends and spent far too much money, but as I was feeling a bit low I decided that a bit of retail therapy was in order.have just sorted out all my finances for the month and think I had better stay at home for awhile and stash my cash.
Bought a couple of good CD roms for crafting with, so I am persuading myself that it is a long-term saving for crafting.
just off to put my aching feet up as I have been walking miles today at the exhibition and they are in need of a pampering. Old fashioned bowl of water and some nice bubbly things I think for them and a large g&T for me
Hope everyone has a good week-end
    Cheers JackieO
  • Evening all :hello: those of you who are getting mild weather are very lucky, still cold in South Yorkshire.
Moggins – sorry things haven’t worked out for you and OH, now you have a new life and as you say it’s “onwards and upwards”. Hope you enjoyed the Bristol meet.
Diva – glad you have managed to “talk” to Tristan.
Chrisca hope your DGD is better soon.
Marie – sorry to heard about your DH, I know what it feels like to be a in a dark place.
Apologies to those I have missed.
Not much OS today apart from a load in the DW and the WM as I am full of cold (in fact if I wasn’t female I would say I have man flu!) Caught up on a pile of Saga magazines which will now be passed to NDN and then to local hospital.
Have bought something called “back magic” that is suppose to stretch your lower back (and mine needs stttrrrretching!). So far have had one 5 minute session after almost doing myself a mischief putting it together (and it is only in two parts:confused: ) the next difficulty was getting up off the floor afterwards! :rotfl: Fortunately only the cats were in to witness the performance!
Hugs to those who are sad, poorly or worried, furry purrs to all the pets.
  • happy rolly would be v. interested to know how your back thing goes...can ya keep us posted?!!
