Morning everyone!
It's a dull and overcast day here, so don't think I'm going to get my washing out on the line at all. The forecast is for heavy rain this afternoon
Didn't get to post yesterday, as I was so busy at work and when I got home. Still studying for these exams on Monday which are an all day affair, so will be interesting to see how it goes
DH is off to work this morning, so it'll be soup and sandwiches at lunchtime. Then we're going to watch the rugby (essential break in the studying!) and I think I'm going to make enchiladas for tea tonight.
Hugs to everyone, whether you need one or not! Hope you all have a good day and enjoy the weekend. I'm off to walk the dog!0 -

Morning all
Tru - goodness - they are lucky to have you around though
12yo girls - sigh - current 12yo is still (touch wood) fine but that's when it all started to go wrong for middle dd now 19. dd(12) goes to a single sex school (her choice) and has a big bunch of geeky friends that all look like her - straight hair and glasses - they discuss fibbonacci numbers and life in other universes - long may it last!
well i'm nearly ready for my 12 mile hike - am just charging some bateries and having some coffee and any other delaying tactics i can think of. The girls are worried that my poor bleached bones will turn up some day under a bush that i had crawled into to eat my sandwiches but I'm sure it will be fine
have a good day everyoneI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Morning Guys!
N9eav-My OH loves Rootbeer, but I think it smells like toothpaste:D ....do you remember when Mcdonalds used to sell it? There is a guy on Ebay who sells it but it costs £1.30 a tin plus postage and considering you can buy the same brand outside a Walmart store in the states for 25c.....I think its a complete rip off!
Didnt sleep to well last night. My mum called last night to tell me that Dad has to have his prostrate removed and am not sure if they are being completely honest with me? Can tell my mum is worried about it all. I'm not sure what the recovery time is as he has work contracts etc. He should have a date in the next 2 weeks for surgery.
OH cooked a lovely breakfast and managed a little. He did bacon, sausage, mushrooms, beans, eggs, toast and we had a left over LARGE baked spud which he chopped up and fried with a little butter and herbs...delish! DD was in heaven:rolleyes: ...can't remember when we had a full cooked one.
DW is on. WM has been on and I must admit to using the TD quite alot atm. I've been struggling to keep on top of it all as Ive not been well, but think Ive finally cracked it. I wish I still had my helper to help me sort and organise things.
DD is out with her friends later so OH is cooking a steak dinner for us.
OH has been doing some of the gardening and sowing seeds. Last night he had broken up old doors that we have had replaced and lit the chimenea (sp)...its a huge one. He came and got me and we sat out there for an hour with a hot choc just chatting .....it was lovely and warm. He has enough for another 1-2 lots I think.
DD has a few chores before she goes out-Bedroom tidied, sweeping & mopping.
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((smoky)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Hugs to all.

Going into town this morning as I want to buy a new rivet for ds (DD's BF but I class him as a DS now so will refer to him that way from now) jeans.
Sunny, what a lovely lady you are, the way you have welcomed that young man into your house is amazing, he will thank you for that for the rest of his life, you should be very proud of yourself lady
Morning all,
Looks a bit overcast here today, still I have a load in the wm, and another to go in, and then OH work jeans to boil wash, I shall hang it all on the line, hopefully it will dry off a bit.
I will make up a picnic today, and OH and I will go walking, tomorrow is supposed to rain here (south coast) so need to make the most of today.
DD is off out with her dad, and he will drop her in town so she can see her mates for a couple of hours.
Carbonara for tea tonight, with garlic bread, I like to have a simple tea on a saturday, dd cooked last night, and we decided Friday would be her night to cook, which gives me a night off, and will help her to learn, she knows a good few recipies already, she seems to be a bit of a natural, but I am determined that by the time she leaves home she will be able to look after herself.
Jackie I hope yesterday was not too bad for you all, hugs xx
Beth, enjoy your party, you should do after you have catered for it
Squiggly, enjoy the gym, I must admit I went for a while, but I hated it, its just not for me, I would rather be out walking or on my bike, it did do me good while I went, but I could not bear it any longer
Tru, your poor neighbours, what a shock x
ISOM, can you post a photo of the cake I am intrigued (sp) with this starter now
Well breakfast is about to be made, mushrooms and a fried egg on toastOH cooking, have good days all xx

Likely to be an OS free zone today as little bear didn't want to sleep last night - specifically between 2am and 4.30am so I am shattered.
I need to dig out needles. I have got to the stage where I don't leave any knitting in the same room as little bear even if I just nip out for juice or to go to the loo, but he saw the bag, grabbed and the bamboo needle shattered. I am posting this so that people can look out as there were quite a few splinters.
Hope dear heart is well enough to go to charity shop as he was sharing the fun last night. If so that will be a nice gap in the house.

weekend off for me till Tuesday!:j :j :j
had a lie in and breakfast in bed with my book:T really enjoyed it. Did the housework last night so not much to do this morning, going grocery shopping later this afternoon when DHs had his nap and am taking DS2 to see his GF today too.
DS1 is in a good mood - he had a 'gig' last night DJ-ing in a small club in Worcester and got home at 3.30am. Tonight he's delivering pizzas for a bit of extra cash.
Not sure what we are eating today till the shopping has been done.
Hope you all have a great day
Take care xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning all
Tru you are a gem and your neighbours are very lucky to have you around.
Just a quickie as I'm off to get my train to Bristol
OH and I finished last night. He walked out but honestly all I felt was relief that he was finally gone. To be honest I think he has been engineering this for the last few weeks pushing me further and further until I kicked him out so he can go live in his precious pub. Well he's welcome to it, it's onwards and upwards for me.0 -
Moggins (((hugs))) to you xxDo what you love :happyhear0
