It was my redundancy money that I spent on furniture, etc.
In that case then I don't think you've got too much to worry about
The OR will likely ask what you spent that money on - just be honest in that you bought essential household items. It would be different if you'd bought it all on cedit, but you didn't so please don't worry

Hi all,
My £25,000 debt was accrued through a loan, two overdrafts, four credit cards and a store card. I was originally on a DMP with CCCS and got it down to just over £18,000 but then got forced to go part time at work so will be declaring BR on 9th March. Then I can start over

Went into IVA owing 19000ish and came out 14months later owing 19000ish....so suppose BR for 19000! Much from Uni, then had to give up work to look after disabled son through proplonged period of illness and just couldn't afford ought! Not to worry - only 10months to go!!

Mine was near on £90K, down to business going bust and debts to pay other debts. All of it was unsecured and I was under 21 :-sBR on 08/07/08
