Approx 43,000.00 over 16 Credit / Store Cards and 1 Loan. All unsecured debt dating back about 10-12 years. Having spent the last 4 years plus on a DMP with the CCCS it was originally calculated that it would take approx 16 years to pay off, my employer reduced my hours last summer to part time and when I did a new budget with the CCCS I was advised that although previously I was then down to 11.5 years to be debt free the reduced wages made it that it would now take me 34 years to pay it back so the decision was made for me. I did try to get a second job and explored all avanues prior to going bankrupt in December 2008.0

I was over the £100,000 mark but some of it wasn't 'real' money. About £30k was for future franchise fees because the business went bust.
