Over £60k for me once personal guarantees I gave as a director of an insolvent company and cars involved in the same were included.

£43k for me! Just loans and credit cards! No real excuse! Just silliness! well that and two unexpected pregnancies which cut back the hours I can work.

When my job changed from £22K+ down to £17k+ a couple of years ago, the monthly payments of £500 became unachievable.

I don't think I lived beyond my means, just that my circumstances changed and meant I couldn't make the payments any more.

40,000 due to stupidity and having to come out of work due to illness losing 6,000 a year and unable to repay the debt.
