Still not been for this meal - talk about indecisive! Now he wants to bring his girlfriend too (which'll mean me paying) so the pricey options are out - and he'd like to do something Saturday or Sunday evening. Are there any pubs that have food and music, as this might be an option? I think I'm going to have to decide this and just tell them!

Try the special deals on this site - link below,
HaHa & Las Iguanas are in The Hub, (I think)
Tootsies was in the Xcape - not sure if its still there.
- these offers are normally 2 for 1 on the food - but not on the drinks, so be careful there.

Caffe Uno 2for1
Pizza Hut Delivery 50% off £30+
Domino's £5 off £15 or £10 off £25
Ha ha 2for1
Tootsies & Dexters 2for1
Las Iguanas 2for1 set lunch
Bella Italia £10 starter, main & drink
Strada 2for1
I would still consider Nandos - great food and options for shared platters. All fizzy drinks come with free refills0 -
Thanks for all the ideas MK moneysavers. We didn't go saving very much as we went to the Peking in Stony and had one of their set menus with about five courses, and very nice it was too! Just as well DS is only 18 once.
I was tempted by the Living Room, which looks very nice too and had live music last night but DS wanted a Chinese. Now, when someone takes me out....somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -

Hello there, I'm somewhat of an intruder as I don't live in MK, however my elderly father does & is having a bit of a problem with his cableTV, so I hope I can stop being the lurker I am on MSE & ask a question please.:o Pretty Please :A
I don't really understand the cable system at MK, only know that when Virgin took over from NTL he lost Sky1 & got Hallmark, much to his delight. However he seems to have lost Hallmark now, does anyone know if Virgin stopped showing this via the MK Cable? Or is it just a case of him having to pay more money to get it back, I sincerely hope not, bless him.

Hi guys
I am preparing fro Christmas and would really like to buy my Turkey and Leg of Lamb asap and get it out of the way.
Have been to all the supermarkets and even Costco and none of them have any Turkey in stock yet. And ideas of any good butchers where I can buy or a farm where I can go and pick my own free range one from?
Cheers :beer:MFWB

I don't know when Costco will get theirs in but they do have turkey crowns already. I'm guessing that you're after a 'proper big bird' ;-)0

Great news for anyone on the Bradwell Abbey exchange (Check here). Starting Jan 2010 and running until March 2010 BT are going to be laying fibre optic cables. This is being done as a test for the rest of the UK. Anyone on the BA exchange will be lucky enough to be the first to test it out.
This could mean internet speeds of up to 100mbps (more realistically 20-30 mbps). I for one can't wait!! We'll be the fastest MSE'rs around!
