Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good solicitor in Milton Keynes? The transaction is fairly straight forward as I am a FTB purchasing a new build. I am currently renting so there is no chain.
Thanks0 -
Time to give the thread a little oompf again.
Can anyone recommend a mobile disco / DJ for hire?? Redbedhead (ages ago) recommended DJPete, but I've requested a quote from him and heard nothing.
Anyone else know of a good DJ?
I used Diddy Deks for my 40th party & several friends have used him since.
Plays what you ask him to!
I'm too new to post a link but it's mkdisco .co .uk (no spaces!)Helen0 -

We used Allan Ainsworth when buying our current house and selling our flat. At the time there were two conveyancers there but the one we were assigned has moved on. My parents and sister have also used him in their last house purchases.
I had no issues at all; we had a very complex sale (a shared ownership with an incorrect lease) and the conveyancer was lovely; I'd email her daily with queries or requests for help and they went out of their way to sort things out as far as they could. Thankfully it all went through.
Just after the following March (end of year), we received a cheque in the post from them as they'd taken too much in our fees and hadn't used it - there was a surplus on the account.
