Fantastic news. Well, if I hadn't moved from the hole of Broughton, it would be. I'm on the Wolverton exchange, being in MK13... grr (Gaz are you on Bradwell Abbey even though you're in the same postcode?? Lucky you if so!)!! I live relatively close compared to some on this exchange, but get a measly 3.5mb line on O2's LLU here. That's still an improvement on my last ISP's 1.5mb...
If the tests are successful, maybe BT might extend their trial/upgrade to the rest of MK's exchanges (one could hope...)0 -
I am in Bradwell Common and gonig by my post code (mk13) and my phone number in the search thing I listed above I am on BA exchange. My mum lives in Bradwell and she is MK13 but is on the Wolverton exchange.
Roll on January
What estate are you on indie? This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0 -
Hmpf, lucky you! Blue Bridge for me. Definitely Wolverton Exchange, one of the nearest and not seeing much of an improvement on speeds at all.
Never mind, I'll whizz to my sister's and check out the speeds at hers when the trial starts (her bf is a big WOW player so he'll be impressed).0 -
Hi
I'm moving in 2/3 weeks. Can anyone recommend men with van, reasonably priced, who know what they're doing? I'm not going far (within my estate lol).
Thanks0 -

MK T&B are good, based in Bletchley.

I don't really understand the cable system at MK, only know that when Virgin took over from NTL he lost Sky1 & got Hallmark, much to his delight. However he seems to have lost Hallmark now, does anyone know if Virgin stopped showing this via the MK Cable? Or is it just a case of him having to pay more money to get it back, I sincerely hope not, bless him.

Hope he's not paying for his cable now! I haven't paid for years, since they last tried to put the price up for the inadequate service. I called them and told them I didn't want it anymore (using SKY) and they just stopped the payments and left it connected. Guess it costs them too much to bother sending someone out to disconnect.0 -
There was a problem with Hallmark yesterday - but its back working now
Thank you for taking the time to reply, apologies for the delay in my thanks. Yes all seems to be working again now, he's a very happy chappie again now. :beer:Hope he's not paying for his cable now! Yes he is still paying for it.Oh dear, the question is, do I risk his wrath when he doesn't have any TV as they have been to disconnect it???
Other than this cable service (not sure how much he pays) or opting for a Sky box & dish is there anything else you can go for in the MK13 area? He has told me in the past that you weren't allowed to put up aerials & need Planning permission for Sky dishes, not sure if that is still the case.
