  • Morning!!!

At least im not the only scaredy cat out there!! Hostel was horrible. So was Saw. I managed to sit through 1,2,3 but i could only have caught about 3 seconds of the film through the gaps in my trembling hands!!!

One of my friends mentioned Boy in the Striped Pjamas is supposed to be really good.

One money saving tip i could add (and lets face it i dont talk much about MSE tips on here!) If you like films like me, i get the sunday TV guide and record all the good films over the week (lots of good films are late 11pm + so i always have about 7-10 films recorded that i can watch if im bored and are FREE! So no Blockbuster film fees! Its good as you get to see films you wouldnt normally pay to see. You will be surprised how many good films are on that you havent noticed before! :j :j :j

Anyway enough of that MSE lark! :D

Im off the a recruitment agent soon for a 1pm appt. So i will be back on later!! YAY!!!!!!!

Ohh the Sparky update...he kept texting me saying 'babes i love you' and i wouldnt reply. GO ME. Then he came in at 10pm and sat down and told me sternly 'OK NO MORE OF THIS ENDING OUR RELATIONSHIP. ITS NOT HAPPENING. I LOVE YOU AND THATS THAT.'

At this point i was agog (if thats a word??) and said 'well, mate, you have no choice as you are acting like an ars@hole'

So then he promised to change his phone number (well that proved my point didnt it??) and to be nicer.

So i told him id think about it. I told him to change and THEN id see IF i wanted to be with him.

So i feel much better. He has time to change while i think about things. (well between you and me, its until i get a job and can decide what i want to do..)

Im still going to go to CAB and try to meet the hunky mature man Rupe was talking about. :j :j I will ask then what im entitled to (WHEN) i move out, like Rosered suggested.

Right better be off to train station. Boo

Swinstie73 - you HAVE to get a cat. the best thing you will ever do. xx
    CC1 - £250 (PAID) :j :D
    CC2 - £2400
    CC3 - £3200
    I hate redundancy..it sucks.
    ...............................
    Only smarties have the answer...

That is a very very good idea! When me and my OH first got together his ex would NOT go away and he was having a tough time because he couldn't get over her. He kept refusing to change his number for stupid excuse reasons but I knew it was because he couldn't let her go. So I said I would leave if he didn't change his number and tadaaa he gives me his old SIM card (which I couldn't help but checking and lo-and-behold she'd been texting him asking why he wasn't replying anymore!!) gets a new number and forgets about her!

We've been together for over 2 years now thanks to him changing his number so hopefully things will get better for you, too :) xx

    Hi Blondie!

Oooh hunky mature CAB man - I feel a Grandad goggle coming on!

Regarding films, - Great tip about taping them (once I learn how!) I am spending a fortune at Lovefilm and we really don't have the money. Most recent horrid scary film I saw was "The Hill have Eyes" - oh my God - I am scarred for life. Younghusband could not watch it and hid in the kitchen. I sat on the sofa petrified with horror and too afraid to move and turn it off.

Glad you are feeling better today. I don't really get the phone number thing - what does that change, getting a new phone number? Is it because you think he is having a thing with someone else, and how would changing his phone number solve that? Would it not be best to ask him outright whether he is involved in anyway with anyone else, or does that feel impossible to do? I do hope you get some advice about your position no matter what happens - Should things not work out, he can go back to his Mum's and he has a job, but you are in a vulnerable position, as you don't have these things at present. Enough from me - tell me to p**** off if you want!. I am just trying to ask the right questions to try and help you to think about the important things, not to annoy you. :)

Right, I'm off to Poundland to buy 4 shrubs and a huge thing of Toblerone for mam for Mother's Day - total £5. Last year I bought her a £500 diamond ring - how times change!

OOOH postman has arrived with my new underwear! I bought some from Ebay. I know its not very moneysaving, but good underwear makes me feel so much better! :)

  • well done blondie for being strong looks like you given sparky a fright!!

just stay determined and if you now what your options are if you did leave then at least you have control and can stay or go depending on how you feel rather than feeling like you have no other options either.

keep it up girl and good luck for tomoorow xx

Amen to that. I was looking at La Senza Sale and made a wish list, and when I've paid off 1/5 of my credit card I'm going to treat myself to something. You can't deprieve yourself all the time.

Rosered, you do a lot of edits - any clue as to why my Thanks button disappeared and is replaced with Edit/Delete? Have checked all other posts and they are all the same, have even emailed the forum website but no luck!

Hi- all posts by other people have 'Thanks' or 'Quote' button
All YOUR posts have Edit (so you can fix typos etc) Delete (In case you really co**ed up) and Quote (in case you want to quote yourself) but no Thanks (I guess 'cos thanking yourself would be odd:D)
So don't worry, you're not doing anything wrong- you just didn't notice it before:D
Actually just checked- and i don't have a delete button! So don't actually know what's going on. That was a really useful post wasn't it! Sorry, just confused matters further!!
