Im sitting watching Interview with the Vampire. Love scary films. Im a such a scaredy cat. Went to see the film "hostel', had to go home after 30 mins as i was hyperventilating in the corridor and about to puke in my popcorn bucket.
    :D:D

Ohhh, I love Interview with a Vampire! Mainly because of Tom Cruise, I remember the first time I watched it jawdrop.gif (award for most un attactive smilie face?) needless to say he was plastered all over my secondary school weekly planner within days. As for Hostel, I watched that with my Pa and we couldn't stop for giggling, was a bit to B-movie for me!

high fives, claps and cupcakes for being a tough biscuit last night highfive.gif Hope you're feeling better this morning and good luck on the interview tomorrow!

I watched that Corrie too, I love cheesy TV! But Tony reminds me of that 'Mad Eye' from Harry Potter. But you should remember that quote, not matter how cringey it was when she said it!

I also cry at almost every film I watch now - happy endings, sad endings it makes no odds. I even got a bit misty at the end of Alvin and the Chipmunks - thats how bad things are.

Same here! How much do you want your very own Theodore!!! I was crying my eyes out at how cute he was.

The film that has made me cry the most ever though is P.S I love you. Not very good for the "rubbish OH" phase some of us are going through but OMG I had to pause it about 3 times to calm myself. I want a strapping irish husband!!!

Ahh reading that back it makes me sound all crazy and weepy lol, nevermind :o

PS- sparky sounds like he's being a poo face, and you deserve more support than he's giving you. until he learns that, i suggest silent treatment for him.

    Moring crazy cat ladies!

I really want a cat now, my neighbour used to have a wee kitten called Tigger, I swear it used to bound about just like him. It sneaked into my house once whilst I was getting tiling done (I was out tho) and was having a rare time to itself - I thought about catnapping it actually it was so cute :D

As for weepy films, I cry at anything too, even had a cry at Grissom leaving CSI on Tuesday night and when he siddled up to Sara at the end, I couldn't contain myself. As for scary movies, did anyone see Eden Lakes? It was gruesome, missed most of it due to hiding behind my popcorn!
  • Hi Girls,

Wow, one day away from a computer and you lot go mad on the posts:eek:

I cannot do scary films either....scared myself half to death when I was about 12 watching Nightmare on Elm Street :o I'm such a wimp anyway....can't look out of a window into the dark (I think a scary man is going to be looking back at me:confused: And I don't like the dark...DH thinks it's hilarious, he always turns the light off on me:rolleyes: Troll!!!!
The scariest I can get is Scary Movie but coz it's hilarious rather than scary!!! But I do want to see 'Lesbian Vampire Killers' but somehow I don't think that's going to be scary :D

Blondie - Honey I really can't offer anymore advice than everyone else has, but I would say go with your gut feeling, it's usually right. Big Hugs to you sweetie *Refuses to do the gangbang cuddle*

My cat is still poorly sick but we've worked out it's coz the stupid thing is wolfing her food down soooooo fast (Just like her mummy:o ), so I had yesterday off with her(I was poorly too) and fed her a little every few hours and hey presto, right as rain! At least it's one less thing to worry about.

Hope everyones having as nice morning as me, the sunshine always makes me feel good:D

Can anyone tell me why my last post says Edit on the bottom - I've checked for typos and can't find any! Have I said something dodgy? Help!

I thought that too, but would it matter that my name was on a mortgage? Think i need to go to CAB??

Hi Blondie - going to CAB might be a good plan anyway - about benefits but also about where you would stand with your joint debts. The benefits I mentioned are means tested - I don't think your name on a mortgage would matter there . Either the flat would be sold, or your OH would have to take on the whole mortgage, so you couldn't stay in the flat anyway. But I think you would need to leave your OH and flat before you could claim anything at all- that's why I suggested you get your own place first - so you have somewhere to go until you decide what to do next. I am sure there are loads of experts on the MSE board should it come to that, but CAB might be a good plan as there is the debts issue.

Thanks catherine h, have looked back at old posts and they've all changed to Edit - sure they only had Thanks / Quote before - think I've done something wonky - I'm not very computer savvy :D
