    whats this about chicken legs????

    Excellent Blondie - phew!

Good luck for tommorrow. Will check in to see how it's gone. Goodnight Blondie and all ladies xxx
  • Mornin' everyone!

All this spa talk is making me dreamy - it's payday for me today (but I am very likely to lose my job in 2 months so I can't spend ANY money!)

I used to work in a spa restaurant. (Champneys if anyone has heard of it?) But have never actually been pampered at one, now how wrong is that!! So I had it dangling in front of me for 2 years while I slaved away in a silly waistcost and tie, explaining to people that, no, we don't serve chips or beer, this is a health farm.

Anyway I have promised myself I will actually do some work today instead of faffing about on this site so I hope you all have a lovely day, good luck with the insurance Blondie, I found that phoning them every single day helped, as laborious as it is!

    xx

    Morning Everyone,

Can only use the Internet at work so loads to catch up on!

Rosered, Laura2481 explained the Edit/Thanks button thingy, I was just being a newbie and not realising I couldn't thank myself!

Congratulations Loopylou on your new arrival :j

As for spa days, we went to one at Airth Castle outside Stirling and it was brill, was with my mum and sisters so didn't have to worry about being fat - we just all had a laugh and got a tad drunk on the free wine :D

Good luck with the interview Blondie, sounds like could be a good job, as for the man on the bike, you should have told him to get on it - oops forgot he doesn't have one, ha!

Well better actually do some work, by that I mean go to the canteen and see what I can eat - I am always hungry!! xx

  • Morning all

Oooooo spa days.................been 2 yrs since my last visit, went to *Dodgy name alert*..... Hoarcross Hall in Staffordshire....was heaven on earth! v.expensive but worth every penny:D Been trying to get OH to come with me but don't think it'll happen anytime soon, even though I know he'd love it!! And he never takes the hint at xmas that me n his mum (Yes I get on really well with my in-laws:eek: ) would LOVE to go. Troll :rotfl:

Things are really gonna start looking up for you soon blondie.....I can feel it in me waters :D

Swinstie...you're no longer alone:cool: We can talk shiznit together until everyone else is awake:rotfl:

And Hi Tasha......................out of curiosity whats does you dog do to act like a cat???? I swear my cat acts like a dog, she'll even play fetch and Dh has taught her to play hide & seek:p

Whats everyone planned for the weekend???
    Debt [STRIKE]£52,656.60[/STRIKE]_pale_£41273.42:)

Finally someone else who has a cat that plays fetch :D our cat will only play fetch with a little red mouse and our kitten will only play fetch with a green pompom!! Although I am slightly disappointed as I thought they were the only ones - I was going to make them youtube sensations and become a millionaire. Now that is very MSE, don't you think.

Hey Blondie maybe Marmite has a rare hidden talent you can tap into? Lol :)

This weekend I plan to make my CV very beautiful so I can start travelling down the 'applying for new jobs' road *sigh* on Saturday as well as grocery shopping (yay :|) and lounging in the sunshine if it lasts!
Sunday I have to work all day. I'm torn as to wether it's a good thing or a "you're taking the p1ss, you tell me I'm losing my job then take half my weekend away!!" hmmm....

Or we could all get together outside a very expensive spa and con them into thinking we work for a big newspaper and simply must sample all their lovely spa delights for free in return for excellent reviews?? Think it'd work? And would they allow cats?

edit: so much for me staying away from MSE today eh

Hi catherine h/Tasha and The Other Catherine,

I logged off to eat my lovely buttered scone with a cuppa - yum (probably another 200 calories but oh well) :D

I've nothng planned this weekend, so where is that spa we're meeting at?!? Actually my OH is standby on Saturday so I will either catch up on progs I've still to watch, I swear I could do that job full time, or what I really should be doing is my housework. I started a few weeks ago going through my wardrobe and managed to fill three boxes of clothes that are too small/out of fashion (mostly too small) but have loads more to do. OH has about a foot of wardrobe space and I have about ten ;) Car boot season coming up soon, have decided everything is being sold for £1 each, if sell everything could actually make £100+ - Yeah!

What's everyone else got planned? x
