What kind of work is it you're looking for Blondie? I temped (office work) for almost a year before I got my current job so maybe don't rule temping out as although the money isn't the best it can get your feet in the door as it did with me, but must admit going back to it now would freak me out a bit.
I also did a bit of office cleaning last year when I got into a jam with my overdraft - but cleaning smelly men's toilets left a lot to be desired - although I did get my sis a date with one of the staff - one year on they are still together - just call me Cupid0 -
Hey blondie, sending you big hugs as you seem to be having a troll of a day!!!! and as for sparky shouting at you and putting the phone down.........not on when you need nice words! send him straight to the naughty step (no one said it cant be the front door step with the door locked??!!!)
keeping my fingers crossed for you on the job front, xxxDecember 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

I havent had a holiday abroad in years and i tell you i need one so badly right now. Ahhh the feeling off the sun on your skin. Toes in the sand. Hot waiters bringing you mojitos....
Bless you pet! You need aholiday with your man. I had four foreign holidays the year before we got married, - me and OH were going thru a really bad patch in winter 2007 - and getting away from work stress and domesticity was great - it gave us time to have fun together again. I don't regret it although it cost us a lot of money - we needed the time togther and I was working 12 hour days.
I hope you make up with Sparky - I really do. Being unemployed is so crap - but when you get a job you and sparky will have a real go at getting things sorted - its very hard to do when one of you is unemployed X0 -
To cheer up those that need it and are crazy cat ladies watch this clip, it made me giggle! Ps am i allowed to post a clip? PLease don't let me be banned!!!!!!!!!

And in true crazy-cat-lady form, my cats woke me up later on in the night because they were both "loafing" (that's what we call the classic cat pose of folding their front paws under themselves - they look like bread  ) on me purring as loud as they could. Cat snoring I call it, how inconsiderate at 3am!

Hehe
Our cats do that too, they have many poses
"Folded" - as described by you as loafing (which I like better and will use from now on)
"Dead"- when they just flop on their sides with their legs out straight and eyes closed
"Booby-trapped" like dead, but alert and claws outstretched too, usually in a doorway or by the bottom stair (eg. Sammy has booby-trapped the stairs)
"Sphynx" - similar to folded but with paws outstretched and slightly aloof
"Neat" - usually waiting for food, sitting upright with paws neatly side by side and looking up at you , waiting......
Or are we just mad in our house? You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0 -

Neat! We use that one as well. You aren't mad at all (by my standards, which can't be much of a consolation) We often make up stories about the cats, much like the life stories on the train. But then without these strange habits we wouldn't be "crazy" cat ladies. Just cat ladies. Which doesn't have the same ring to it

That's a difficult one, I've always worked in offices i.e. secretarial, but did end up in HR (temping), which I hated but made loads of great friends and now work in an Engineering dept with loads of mad men (no mad cats for me I'm afraid). Is the campaign management, copywriting anything to do with newspapers/magazines?!? Im thinking Ugly Betty here - the endearing secretary with longings to be a journalist - I live in a fantasy world sometimes...... Honestly you'd be good at journalism0 -
hey just read your diary today and i'ts really cheered me up!
i know how hard job hunting can be and I also know what recruitment consultants are like having been one myself for 6 months! didnt last long! unfortunately they are a necessary evil but use them to your own advantage, register with as manay as possible as getting a new job is a numbers game, the more people who have you cv then the likelihood of you getting and interview increases but you need to chase them for feedback daily if you have too and if you feel like they are ignoring you call the manager where you interviewed and ask for his/her feedback. Then the recruitment consultant will be upset!!
just dont give up cos it sounds like you are getting so close, its only a matter of time till your dream job lands on your doorstep.
on the theme of OH's i think they cant compute. My OH is acting in a very similar manner sometimes it just seems impossible.
Good LUCK ******0
