£364.66 a month. Was much higher but a tribunal reduced it to pay back overpayments.

Phasing is the worst thing in the world, and was introduced thanks to a certain Tony Blair. It works both ways though, I knew of a few cases where the NRP would be assessed higher on new rules, and as their new assessments were phased they paid less.

    Hi all,

Not been on here for a while...but just to say, I am paid up and my case is closed..and YES I do have it in writing!
Remember, I have never ever spoken to the csa on the phone, never dealt with them by email, everything has been done using snail mail, in writing.

Again my advice to anyone reading this is NEVER EVER make cash payments to a pwc without them being fully receipted and traceable
And from re reading some of these threads, it appears that any recipient of cash payments has to acknowledge that they are for child support.
DONT DO IT, DONT PAY CASH!
  • £0.00. I have a restraining order that says so.

But paying via a S/O is ok?

At least that is traceable right?

What if I set up a private agreement via S/O, mark it as child maintenance and get her to sign something that agrees the amount and bank accounts? Would that be ok?

    NO, NOT GOOD ENOUGH

    I fully agree with CornishBloke29
  • I got "done" by Csa a few years back. Used to give my ex £x per month, when I found it wasn't being spent on my boy (she was living at home then) I used to spend what I'd give her on clothes, food, nappies etc. reported me to Csa and they left me with nothing bar the minimum living allowance for 3 months while they collected arrears. Furious! But funny thing is after my assessment I eded up having to pay less than half I was spending on him!

Opened a savings account which he'll get wen he's 18, paying the access in there. Got to be hones d say Csa aren't very helpful at all, and my payments are never te sae all year round. Up or down a few quid here and there (DEO), not sure why but cant be hard to gt A set figure, /12 is it?!
