Also, to get it unlocked, visit the mobile phones thread of these forums and one of the guys will provide you with a free unlock code (if you ask nicely!)

Keep the product, get evidence of Tesco refusal to R&R, and then simply issue a claim in the court - costs £30 but you get this back if you win.
    .
I can't see this working to be honest. R&R is in excess of your statutory rights; there's nothing in law that forces them to do it. It's an internal policy. Happy to be corrected though!
    Can I help?

I was just trying to help people by providing the information that it can't be done remotely and/or free by a code as you suggested and to save them time asking on the Mobile Phones board.

    Hi

I purchased the 500ml bottles which were showing 77p on the sandwich section and 81p on the drinks aisle.

When I purchased them I was charged at 81p. I bought 6 for the OH but at the bottom of the receipt I had been given a discount stating 2 for £1.30. Even though I didn't see this anywhere in store.

I went to CS and explained I had been overcharged. She said I had in fact got them cheaper than was on the shelf.

How do I stand on this one. I was too scared to say anything.

I thought I 'd let you guys know as I know some like to purchase more than one item. I usually only buy 1/2 items.

    All comments welcome.

500ml bottles have gone up in price from 79p to 81p. Fanta was 49p and now scans at 81p. Found at Tesco Coventry.

The drinks aisle was correct - but the "fast food" section near the front of the store where you can grab your drinks/sandwiches etc and go was wrong.

    Enjoy!

Sounds like you did get them cheaper than 77p so can't really complain :) Although its still labelled incorrectly and if you had bought an odd number it would be R&R time for a single bottle. Sounds like the store were covered on this one but more by dumb luck than following the processes. By the sound of it the label will probably be wrong next time you shop so keep trying and sooner or later it will probably be R&R time.
