CS just phoned back saying that they spoke with the manager, he still says that i got a £10 refund and that i had purchased it at the electrical counter!
Both Lies! I Never received a £10 refund and i never purchased it at the electical dept.!
And no sign was showing of the error!

I am not surprised. Loads of untruthes......from him have come to light across this site. Anyone contemplating an RR should take a dictaphone into T's. Go wired up with microphone poking up from cleavage to catch every word. After all T always record all Head Office phone conversations. I had to ring CS re a problem and they just told me the matter was closed. Suggest we all keep our phones ringing into CS till they actually give us a satisfactory answer. They will tire of us eventually!! Go in on the 0800 number otherwise we have to pay for the call.

The manager is quite obviously covering his tracks as he or his staff have failed to put out the "disclaimer" pos on the phone.Im not sure if you can go back and request to see the ctv footage,i would certainly give it a go.

i have the phone call saved from CS (dundee) that he had spoken to ****** and ***** said the issue had been dealt with as i received a £10 refund.
Also says that the signage had been removed but a new one has now been put up!!

I had been out when CS phoned.

in my honest opinion, it sounds like a mess up (want to use stronger term here) all round, the CS manager should give you the R&R as a goodwill gesture.....

Hi, brand new to MSE but have been watching the Tesco threads with interest.

I'm planning on heading to Tesco's tomorrow but was wondering if there is no instore scanner (or its broken) how can you check the scan price?

Do you just have to take a gamble at the till?

Apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere, just i'm quite lost with all the other Tesco threads aswell.

Sorry aswell if i've posted in the wrong spot.

Firstly, ideally you have posted in the wrong spot but dont worry someone will probably kindly move the post here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=151836

If there is no instroe scanner you cant check the price unless you got to Customer Service and ask how much something is ... and then when you go to get an R&R your going to be a bit scuppered.

Basically, you have to take a gamble. But if it doesnt pay off, just take it back for a refund! Remember not to use your clubcard and if they ask for your address make one up! :rotfl:

I said I wouldnt post here again but heyho!! In my opinion if you are trying to get RR on a item you were geniunely going to buy anyway, then go for it with CS at Dundee. However if you were just trying your luck to get a freebie then I really wouldnt bother. Its not as if you've lost anything.

  • Hi peeps.. I have an idea for those of you that have phones and can't get R+R... Next time you speak to HO or Manager tell them that a friend/relative of yours has had the same problem and got R+R no problems and ask them why you are being treated differently!!! I was not lucky enough to get one, but well done all those who did :)
Always remember your unique! ...Just like everyone else!

No, not as a good will gesture. That is a get out for T. He has to give the RR because of his agreement with the customer....see the notice at CS in blue and white as has so often been pointed out on this site. Come on, get real.

An "Internet troll" or "Forum Troll" is a person who posts outrageous message to bait people to answer. Forum Troll delights in sowing discord on the forums. A troll is someone who inspires flaming rhetoric, someone who is purposely provoking and pulling people into flaming discussion. Flaming discussions usually end with name calling and a flame war.

A classic CureZone troll is trying to make us believe that he is a skeptic. He is divisive and argumentative with need-to-be-right attitude, "searching for the truth", flaming discussion, and sometimes insulting people or provoking people to insult him. Troll is usually an expert in reusing the same words of its opponents and in turning it against them.

While he tries to present himself as a skeptic looking for truth ... his messages usually sound as if it is the responsibility of other forum members to provide evidence that what forum is all about is legitimate science.
