perhaps it is because we both went through the same automaton training regime....
We certainly are not the same person, Tars gets a nice cosy office while i get a cold smelly shopfloor....oh and a difference in salary of about £2,000,000 per annum (and not in my favour either!!)
If only! Nice cosy office is actually a converted storage areaWe had to move out of our nice offices so the flashy buying teams could have them. Oh and the salary isnt quite that yet

I think he is entitled to his opinion. Lets be honest, Tesco know about this thread and monitor it on a daily basis. Do they have people posting on here? Maybe, who knows?? As soon as a mispriced is posted HQ is likely to check up on it. The thread really defeats the idea of consumer power. The whole misprice concept is actually bringing people into Tesco, they may then discover the misprice has been rectified yet the customer is likely still to purchase something. Tesco are not losing customers over it.0 -

We have all made more certain money on here than risking a few shares in T. Tell me if I am wrong.
Actually, the majority of people who post to the Tesco threads know when not to take the pee, unlike you. I've seen many, many people post that they disagree with the way you conduct yourself and how you take things too far. Your actions are hardly community minded and go against everything this forum stands for. You've been asked many times to stop making personal attacks on Spa2K and Tars, yet you continue to do so. You've also been asked by members to stop posting your paranoid thoughts on Tesco. You've not listened to anyone. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Thanx for the info spa, very much appreciated.

Sometimes we can walk away Spa2k, but the Manager involved took the wrong steps, i intend moving this further along, if it was true then fair enough!, but none of what he said was true that's what flipped me!

You are correct, he is entitled to his opinoin, it is just that most of it is utterly pointless drivel that adds no value at all.
I still maintain that i have seen no communication to indicate that this thread is monitored and nothing to indicate that the misprices are checked once posted. As Tars has said, most misprices are local to individual stores and what appears in one may not appear in another. Does this thread bring people into tesco? Possibly however if this thread was to cease existance today I dont think that turnover would suffer.Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

Sorry, but in the post I quoted, Robert was accusing two different posters of being the same person. Both posters work for Tesco, hence the anti-tesco paranoia. Robert is trying to deflect attention away from himself, as he's making himself look a complete !!!! on here.
I doubt Tesco monitors this thread. Individual stores might, as managers have to take responsibility for misprices in their stores. It would make sense for the individual stores to keep up to date on possible misprices in their stores by any means possible. However, this is not something they are told to do by HO, nor is it something HO does.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
