Hi Olliegami and Lemon Tree :easter: hope you are both well.
I managed to stick to my budget on friday, budget - £10 spent - £7.56. Stuck to yesterdays budget of £5, spent - £2.10. Todays budget £0, lets see how well I can do today!!! Today I going to:- go to work
- spend 2 hours ebaying
- start doing the scrathcards
- onepoll
- apply for another college course for next year
- start looking for a new job!! One which I can actually enjoy!!!
- have a NSD
Had my £13.50 standing order paid into my overdraft account and then transferred £29.93 from my everyday account into the overdraft as well so I'm now -£337.63. The 1st £300 of the overdraft is interest free but I would rather pay it all off before tackling the loan.
Hope everyone has a lovely Easter :EasterBun

Hey! Well done on the budgeting! Good luck for today, I should imagine you'll manage it though.
I know how you feel about wanting to get rid of the overdraft before you start tackling the loan - then you can look at it like "I have reduced one whole debt" instead of still thinking that you have two! =D
Have fun with the scratchcards, and onepoll. I'm so close to the payout at the moment I keep checking every five seconds for new surveys.0 -
Hey, I'm online again. Hope everything's going well...The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

Hi everyone :hello: I feel like I've been away for ages!! I've been studying non stop and haven't really being MSE for a while but I'm back! Hope everyone is well!!

Ok where to start? where to start?!
I'm not fully into the MSE swing of things yet as I'm still having to spend so much time studying but 4 weeks today it will all be over :j I'm going to start write on here again everyday & completing my spending diary then when my exams are done I will be (hopefully) making extra money through surveys, bingo, ebay etc.
In the time since I last posted I have gone from bad to worse! I applied for a credit cardthankfully (?) I didn't get it. I'm glad of that coz I don't need it anyway but I will need to get a copy of my credit report to see just how bad things are. My overdraft is still at £700 but I'm using it all (at least it's not gone up!) at the moment.
In the summer I'll only be working part time as there are no full time hours available so I'm going to be almost £400 less every month. I'm going to look into getting another part time job as well but I'll wait until exams are over to do that.
I'm working tonight but I will take dinner with me. I will need to go to the shop though as my friend has just text and said her grandma has died so I'll get a card for her and her sister.
Budget for today - £4
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Hi Lemon Tree :hello: hope you are well. I'm glad in a way that I didn't get the card as I would have probably blown it on rubbish. It does mean that my credit report is worse than I thought
Only spend £2.32 today on the cards so that's great! Aiming for a NSD tomorrow!

Arrgghh I've just wrote out a big long post and now I've lost it
Anyway.. that's college finished just got 1 more exam to go and I'm free!! Got loads more time on my hands now to do some debt busting!! Today, unfortunately I'm going to have to do a bit of spending need to get some petrol and something for lunch as the cupboards are bare!! I've also just made my first hamper :j but I need to get some ribbon or something to finish it off. I shall post pics later once its finished. Got my volunteering tonight so thats even more money (I will be able to claim it back eventually tho). I've got £20 vouchers for pizza hut so I'm taking my friend and her little boy there for dinner as they've been having a pretty rough time recently.
I'll need to fill out last months volunteering expense forms so I can claim that back, will also need to get stamps so I can post these. I'm also going to try and do some Ebaying today as well. My camera is broke, it won't even on  so I'll need to try and use the camera on my phone, hope it's ok! As well as that I'm going to try and find some other survey sites as at the moment I only do onepoll but feel there's not a lot on there as I can go a couple of days without doing any as none of them apply to me.
Anyhoo that's about it for the moment I shall be back later to post my hamper pic!!

Hi everyone :hello:
Didn't have time to get petrol yesterday but I will do this tomorrow as today I'm aiming for a NSD!! Yesterday I spent £11.95 and I really need to tighten my belt!! I'm working this evening but other than that I will not be going anywhere else so hopefully I'll manage not to spend a penny.
Today I need to apply for a college course next year as I still haven't done it and get around to doing my volunteering expenses, do some surveys and have a look at the no spends on quidco.

I'm going to start doing a Payment A Day :j and ensuring I've always got a round figure in my overdraft account and empty my purse every night and add my spare change to my cooper jar which I'll have a total of in my signature.
I've just ended the jar to find out how much I have to start with and it came to...£92.43!! I've also just emptied my purse so it's now up at £95.48 and I'll empty it when it is full. Also transferred £5.88 out of my everyday account into my overdraft to make it a round figure. Hopefully if I do this everyday I won't notice it and it'll start building up.
Also started a spending diary again with yesterdays purchases so I can see exactly where I'm going wrong.
Budget for today - £0
PAD - £8.93
