wish i cheques in the post. I'm also aiming at 2011 but i think for me it's going to be a challenge to make 31st Dec, but i'll be happy with that thougth it means i have to find £900 per month, which is probably £150 more than i usually pay each month, trouble is i'm not too sure where it's coming from but where there's a will, there's a way.0

Hi Lemon Tree, hi Wendz!!!
I'm so tired but thought I would quickly jump on for a wee update! Been trying to ebay for the last few hours but my computer is running so slow I've only managed 3 things in the last 2 hours . Anyway whileI was waiting on my pics uploading I emptied my sealed jar to discover there was £72 in there so I shall be taking that to the bank and pay it towards my overdraft.
Went shopping today and bought a few bits and bobs from Poundland for presents for Birthdays I have coming up in the next few weeks. Spent £6. Then tonight I took my friends kids to the shop for sweets which come to about £3 so not really had that bad a day. Went to Aldi as well today for the 1st time to get some food shopping (I'm not counting this on here as my mum gave me money to spend on food while she's away and I'm finding it difficult as it is trying to keep everything seperate!). I was putting all my things onto the checkout thinking it would come to about £25 so I got a very nice suprise when it come to under £10! Will definately be going there for shopping in the future. Also came across daily clicks on fatcheese so I'll be doing this everyday as well from now on. It's not much but every single penny counts!
I'm off to bed now, I'm going to try and get up super early tomorrow as I really need to crack on with the Ebaying!!

I've been on this silly Ebay for 5 hours now and have only managed to put 15 items on but still that's better than none! That's me got 19 items on altogether, got a long way to go if I'm going to hit my target of 100 by Sunday.
When I went shopping yesterday I completely forgot one of my receipts so that's still on my to do list. Did manage to take 1 pair of jeans back so I should have £16.20 back in my account in the next few days.
Off to phone the bank now to get the details of my loan so I can get a standing order set up and start over paying it!

Called the bank and the gentleman I spoke to advised there was no point in paying extra towards my loan as although it would be paid off quicker I would still be paying the same amount of interest so I think I'll just continue to stick it in my savings account and then eventually I'll be able to pay the loan off in full and save some money.
Sold a few items on ebay today £17.35 so I've got £72.63 in there now! I'm going to wait until I get paid before I transfer it out so I know exactly what I've got available for next month.
This is what I've done today towards the £15 a day challenge:- Found 40p
- Ebay - £17.35
- Scratchcard - 10p

I won £5 on the free daily scratchcard today yeah!!! Then made 15p from surveys! Today I'm going to take back some clothes, pay sealed jar contents into bank and post ebay items. Then I'm going to a birthday party! Hopefully the only spend today will be the postage.

fendi, well done on the £5 i haven't won one of those for agggggeeeeesssssss.
I was told the same things about my loans so i'm trying to figure out the best account to save the money in until i can pay it over. For some insane reason i just seem to be scared to apply for a savings account. How daft is that?
Enjoy the birthday party don't forget to snaffle lots of birthday cake.0 -
Well doen on the fiver. I stupidly spent all my scratchcard money getting carried away yesterday!0

well done on the £5 sratchy, i have never won more than 20p, but it was 20p more than i had yesterdayIf we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

Thanks everyone! I was beginning to think I was only ever gona win 10p a day but every penny counts!
Went to the bank this morning and paid in my £72 from my sealed jar plus £10 that was in my purse. That leaves me with £7 in my purse until Sunday when my standing order goes into my everyday account. I usually hate not having money to spend but this time I know it's coz I've saved the money and not spent it for once. All this moneysaving is hard work but I'm just taking it one day at a time and trying not to think of it as over £16k over debt coz that's just too scary and maybe where I've been going wrong in the past!
Off to get ready for my friends sons party now. Normally I would have spent £40-£50 on him which is mad really considering I spend the same on my other 3 friends kids. This year however I spent the grand total of £21 :jGoing to start my Christmas shopping soon so that I can keep the costs down for that as well!!

hi and well done for cutting down on the spending for the birthday pressy, this time next year you'll be halving it again lol
It is very hard work doing this every day isn't it? and you're right you can't think of it as being £x of debt, for me i had to break it down into it's individual bits and try and tackle one bit at a time, and really keep in my head what i have paid off not what's left to pay off otherwise i think i would have just caved in along the way.0
