    Ha Ha!

Easy money! I just took a few things out of the tumble dryer (I haven't used it in months!) and a fiver fell out, neatly folded. Is that what you call money laundering LOL!

All money found in washing machine etc is mine by rights!

  • Chorewars - deary deary me. Well, I've registered and started a party (Evil Cat's Collaborators). I have no idea what to do next. Possibly some real housework.

    Deary deary me!

Dinner has been downgraded to freezer roulette as I have a major headache. Little bear is safe in his room, I am going to try and get a nap until the tablets start working.

    Hugs to all.

  • Hi all!!

Bit of a late post for me, as I didn't have time to post this morning and have been out all day!

I am gonna try and start replying back to people if I can, always found it kinda confusing before trying to remember what people have said and what I need to reply back to! So am now having the thread open on two webpages, so I can read one and reply back on the other as I read! (hope that makes sense!)

    So here goes for today!

Moneysaving Diva - Thanks for the welcome back!:D
Redruby - Definately get a Wii they are brill!! My kids love ours, and I use it regulary for Wii Fit as well as kicking the kids butts on Mario Kart :D
    Thriftlady - Happy Anniversary!

There's a few for today, am sure as time goes on I will be able to manage more! lol

Can I also say thanks to those that replied back about my dentist problem the other day. Can't remember who suggested it, but got the list of local dentists off the internet and started to ring them, got to the second on the list who had space for my kids! So thanks again for the suggestion!

Yesterday was quite a productive day, deep cleaned the dining room, though OH's computer desk / area is still in a state! I am not allowed to go near his precious PC! so can't clean that bit of the dining room! He treats his PC like a baby sometimes lol So I had a word with him when he got home saying it needs cleaning!! I hope he's actually taken some notice!

Also got hold of Landlord yesterday who is coming out Saturday to have a look at our bubbling wall! The wall connecting the kitchen to the dining room seems to bubbling under the paint, doesn't look good, I am guessing damp of some sort, hope that it can be sorted.

Had an email today from the housing people who we are currently in talks with about buying one of their new houses they have built nearby on an affordable housing estate. OH was concerned about the size of the rooms as we had only seen house plans, so they are allowing us to go on site next week, to have a look. Must remember to take wellies as it's gonna be muddy!

Today I have popped into town, originally to go to Wilkinsons to get some leather placemats for my new dining table, but couldnt decide if I liked them or not, then ended us spending just under £20 on other stuff! Though some of the things were bargains! They had lots of stuff reduced, so stocked up on washing powder etc Then popped into to see my old boss, as her husband had a stroke recently and she's having to run the business on her own. Went to see how she's coping, and how hubby is, also offered my help if it is any use, as it must be hard trying to run the place on her own. Then I went Gym and a long swim after, so feeling really good! Then I went straight to Young Mums group where we had a lady in teaching us how to do manicures, have come home with lovely nails! So not much OS done today as I havent been here to do it!

Dinner tonight it the pancakes we didn't have last night:

Savoury - tuna, sweetcorn & parsley sauce with a side salad
Sweet - syrup, lemon, sugar, choc sauce

Sorry I have rambled on more then I had planned to!

  • Hello everyone

I've been missing in action for a few days as I was looking after my sister's little ones as she had a few hospital appointments. Bless her though, she never complains.

Today i have managed some catch up and have refilled the empty baking tins with scones and muffins.
Stripped the beds and got them outside for a good blow in the wind. Tea is curry which is bubbling away in the slow cooker.

Happy anniversary Thrftlady and Thriftlord.
Sorry to hear about your brother Beth. xxx
Hope the job improves soon Snowy. xxx
I have a major headache. Little bear is safe in his room, I am going to try and get a nap until the tablets start working.

    .
I'm sorry to hear to have had so many horrible symptoms today Sybil. You can't take any chances with dizzy spells and headaches. Can you ask your OH to come home to mind little bear?

Better go and hoover before Dh gets home.

    xxx

  • Re chore wars - here is a linky that will last for three days...

    http://www.chorewars.com/invite.php?id=d436900f491d

    What have I done? :eek::p

No OS today, I am a fraud posting on here. I shall, of course, make up for it later  I've just taken some more tablets and hopefully will kick in before little bear does any major remodelling.

I only came in here to take tablets away from little bear, why did I click on? And from the sound of it in the other room he is trying to learn how to pick locks! I trust my ears are deceiving me.

So if I don't do anything re the dratted chore wars thingy it is because the spirit is willing but the flesh is definitely having an off day. I shall be on tomorrow.

    Hugs to all.
