Sons off to London 02 for concert and want a cheap meal before hand, any ideas where please and costs? I know they can eat inside but aren't they expensive? Any help welcome.:beer:There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Does anyone know if I can use Tesco vouchers at any of the eating places inside 02. Thank you for any answers:beer:There's no place like home

One for you Londoners... Fox Bars at Stratford, Connaught, and ExCel Centre currently have an offer whereby a different menu item each day is only £1 (e.g. Fish & Chips Tuesday £1; Club Sarny Sunday £1) - I had their club sandwich washed down with a £1 San Miguel there yesterday and it was well worth the £2 it cost me!#145 Save £12k in 2016 Challenge: £12,062.62/£12,000.00 Beginning Balance: £5,027.78 CHALLENGE MET

I'm really surprised that this hasn't been mentioned yet. Whenever I go out for dinner, I always book a 50% off deal through toptable. The food is good and at a reasonable cost (don't use the toptable reviews as they won't publish anything negative). After ten meals you get a free three course meal:

There is a pub over the road from me (It's on Gosbrook Road, Caversham, RG4 if you're excited) that is offering meals for £1.99.
!
not the TRaveller's Rest? That looks like the food would be plastic. Cheap maybe but value for money? I doubt it. I hate pubs like that - I refuse ot go in Wetherspoons. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

This applies only to veg. etc. NOT to your meat choice./QUOTE]
No this is totally incorrect Crown Carveries DO charge just £3.50 and that DOES include choices of meat from Turkey, ham and beef. That price is Mon-Sat and I think its only £5 on Sunday but never go then as they are wedged. You also get a Yorkshire Pud and a piece of stuffing plus you help yourself to as much veg and sauces and gravy as you want. And if you are really hungry you can keep on going back for as many roast tatties and other veg as you want!
Has to be one of the best value meals going and you can find Crown Carveries all around the UK - just try googling for them.0 -
Golden Eagle, Blackpool.
2 Steak meals for under £6. Great food and great choice, gammon steaks are to die for! Internet club sends vouchers for £5 off so it is possible to have 2 meals for £1! The pub is owned by Punch Taverns. (The vouchers it seems are an error and the offer was meant to be sent to their Southern customers where the offer is 2 for £10 but it clearly states valid against 2 for 1 deals so are accepted although reluctantly).

You have just confirmed the point. All you can eat only applies to veg. You get the meat and veg but can only go back to help yourself to veg, not more meat.Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you0
