Housepricecrash.co.uk & MSE

Options
Following a discussion yesterday I did a search on housepricecrash.co.uk for MSE, I was astonished to find page after page after page of links to MSE. Most of the posts involve posters on HPC making derogatory comments about posters on MSE. However, some of the posts involve organising attempts to flood MSE polls.

Whilst there is nothing wrong with this as these sites are public, I just wondered if MSE posters are aware that they are being watched in this way?

Who cares? Anyone sad enough to use an insignificant message board to influence polls on another insignificant message board deserves sympathy, and probably care in the community. If you don't like it, switch off your computer. You can hardly ban people from looking at more than one website.

Yes, I'm aware of it and have no problem with it. As you say, anything you post on the internet is public and can be freely discussed anywhere.

Quite. I just didn't know if was common knowledge that posters on the HPC forum laugh at the problems of posters on MSE and have crashed this board.

The internet is a great thing but tbh I found this abit sick and extremely creepy.

Maybe we should around laughing our head's off.

Ha ha ha didn't those fools at HPC realise they would lose their jobs in a recession and they still wouldn't be able to afford a house:rotfl:*sarcasm*

Those posters are sick I agree:mad::o

I like reading both sites, both have their good and bad threads and posters. HPC.co.uk can be fairly extreme, but some of their members are very knowledgeable, and I have been able to learn quite a bit. Of course like most forums there is a few c0cks but this par for the course.

Some threads on ths site can be a little nauseating( DFW board), although I realise some of these people need support and help, some are bordering and reckless and feeling sympathy for this type of person is difficult to do.

True. I would find it hard now to have sympathy for any poster on HPC who loses their job. They should be careful what they wish for and careful of being so judgemental - blah blah blah.

Plenty of posters on MSE told those HPC fools that they could lose their jobs in a recession - but would they listen:naughty: So maybe they're not so right.
