That's very unfair. If you don't like what Wise Old Investor is saying, that's one thing; to equate his posts with Alvin Hall? That's quite another.0 -
I am a few thousand up from match betting and it would make my day if I found out that Bookmakers were paying Martin for me to use loopholes on them.0

So how big is Martins chunk??[/quote
Its not an issue, end of. I think martin and his team do a fantastic job on this site as well as other media areas. I think he is the only one that makes things simple to understand and covers a very broard spectrum of things in peoples everyday lifes. I think we can all say that we would be a little less wealthy if it wasn't for his continued work.
So as i said at the start its not an issue. If i could i would, but i cannot so i wont, but maybe one day i will.0 -
i dont care how much money martin makes off of this site, he is a genius! his books are my bibles, and he has saved me a heck of a lot of money and helped me get through some bad times. oh yeah, AND because of him, im getting a lot of my bank fees back...and there is the small matter of a PPI reclaim...:money:this man is a genuis,IMHO.0

Does it take a skim back from Quidco etc
Yes i read the above explanation, thats why i'm asking the question as it felt to me that it had been written to waffle on and explain nothing and plays heavily on the charity side of things.
I'm just curious what kind of level of income spouting a load of financial common sense actually generates.
And as its pushed on the charity side i'd like to see how income is divided. Would it be fair if the company behind this took out 5 mil in profit ans passed on 100K, you are told nothing on here.
I think that the site is a great idea, I hear that Martin works hard for his money and I hope that he does well!0 -
Er... I think the score is Martin umpteen, detractors one.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Have to agee with the other 99% I'm afraid. Who cares how much Martin makes, He's opened up a whole new world to the 1000's of people registered here :T0
