my bad ~ wasnt thinking straight
youll have to download the EXE file onto your sisters comp and either burn it to disc or put on a USB drive or whatever
Then install it on your machine:idea:0 -
Do you still have the OPERATING DISC
If so your going to (probably) need to runa REPAIR with it:idea:0 -
I think 'system rebuild' might be better. Can't someone go round and do a reinstall for her? We're up to post 100 and it might be quicker that way...I've got holidays booked for May...
On a serious note, can someone advise what incredimail is and what it has done to Explorer?
Does Mrs Thickett maybe already have another web browser already installed (one that she doesn't use)?
With all this carp on it I bet you Sys Restore is disabled. No free lunch, and no free laptop

If that doesnt work then try a SYSTEM RESTORE
If ive broken your computer I apologise. Didnt expect Incredimail to be such a nasty thing to get rid of:idea:0 -
try a system restore to the last saved point when you were online.
1.
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.
2.
On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.
3.
On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you'd like to restore to, and then click Next.
4.
On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify that the correct restore point is chosen, and then close any open programs.
5.
Click Next if you are ready to proceed or click Back to change the restore point.
6.
The computer will shut down automatically and reboot. On reboot, you'll see the Restoration Complete page, and then click OK.
This won't be easy from across the road, all you uninstalled was incredimail yes? The above is reversible.
