hi lm back , downloaded revo and tried to get rid of incredimail then had to reboot then couldnt get back on line as now it says internet cannot display this when trying to get back on google ARGGGHHH

still the same today have rung sky who im with and they have checked back and all myinternet conns are ok and dont know why l cant get bk on line

am on my sisters comp at at the mo just to let u know you hav,nt got rid of me yet:D

l dont know if this is possible but if l need to be at my comp to go through something to get back on line id be more than happy if anyone pm me a contact number and l could ring u to go thro things , but understand if thats not a good idea

alternatively my sis is only across the road so lve left this website on her screen to check if any anyone gets back so she could ring me with instructions

While we wait for AliEnRIK to come back from lunch (do aliEns have lunchbreaks?), you could try the first thing I do when the internet connection goes.
Shut down your PC. Switch off your router/modem at the mains. Wait one minute. Switch router/modem back on. Boot up PC and see if you can connect.
Make sure you do it in this order. Cutting the power forces the router/modem to reset itself and this may do the trick.
Sky may already have asked you to do a similar routine.

l have already done that thanks macman didnt work so thats when l went to sky bbtec just to make sure all was ok from them and went all thro it again and loads more very tec thing pings ect numbers ,tried bbc.co.uk just in case google had probs but nothing!!!

dont think she will be able to download that rik. can't access the net. what do you think about restart with last known good config, or system restore?

or she could download portable firefox on her other pc
