Looking for some advice please. I've received the following email from a buyer regarding a book I sold several weeks ago.
"Can you please send an invoice or similar document showing the item purchased and a breakdown of costs including postage & VAT where applicable. We need this information as evidence for our credit card company. Thank you"
Surely he needs to request this from Amazon? I don't know how to work out the VAT!
If its a book there probably isn't VAT on it anyway, most books are zero rated, only diaries, exercise books and similar that are VATable. They should be able to access the payment details from a history page in Amazon.

Wahoo - 2 book sales today. Only listed them in the last couple of days too!

Although looking at my 'closed listings' list - i see some of my books that (as far as i know) haven't sold! The closed date is today, suggesting they were bought today, but there is no confirmation etc, so can I assume these are pending, and an email will come through once these are confirmed?

Check your sales page, you can set your system to view the pendings as well.

I can't see any way of setting preferences to show Pending sales. Which section is it in? I'm not a pro seller btw.

In your "manage orders" section you go to "advanced search" and then there should be a box to tick so that you can see pending items. You don't have to be a Pro Seller to see this info

Just noticed on the seller boards that Amazon are freezing seller accounts where seller has only got a debit card registered. It appears to be ad hoc and completely random, but if you have only a debit card registered as a seller you might want to consider upgrading to a credit card before Amazon get round to you.

When downloading Pre-order Reports on Amazon does anyone know how to get it in a more readable format? It opens in Notepad for me but I want to put it in columns or something like that and I can't work out how

Hi guys, I haven't had the chance to read the whole thread yet so I might be asking a question already answered but I have some French language books to sell. If I list them on Amazon UK do any of you know if they will also appear on the French site, or do I need to list them seperately? My account based in the UK is good to buy books from the French site, which has got me thinking.

    Thanks! :)
