I am too paranoid I know.
Amazon count any refunds against the seller so I would not do it via the Amazon site. What I have done occasionally in the past is explain that we are not allowed to discount our sales but as a gesture of goodwill I have enclosed a small cheque in the packaging. I then add a very small cheque, no more than a pound at most and my buyers usually say thank you, but rarely cash it!
Buyers on Amazon are entitled to a full refund on any item without any explanation, if that happens they will be expected to return th eitem to you and you will then have to refund that cost to them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. So if I sent it special £5 and they returend it for what ever reason they would get refund for all and I would loose the extra £5 or so. It comes as one order I can ship it as one order, but if I need to refund it will be all 4 items. Now I am really confused . You can tell I have done this for long.0

Anyone managed to get hold of the "buyer waiting" lists yet, have asked about it on the amazon boards but got no response, emailed customer support support yesterday and they are getting the technical team to look at it, and will email me back if there is a problem but have heard nothing today.
Selling has picked up over past week although I still have only 150 items listed. I need stock!!I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

Sorry can't help - haven't been pro-m for nearly a year so can't access the list. Thought you had found someone with stock near you or did it not work out?0 -
How are sales for people at the moment?
I don't know if it is the strikes or what but I am now in serious danger of not having to go to the PO every day as my combined sales are just not worth it. I know I had my Amazon holiday settings on for 9 days, but even so I should easily get to my 30 books sold to cover my pro merchants costs, but it looks like I am going to miss the total this month for the first time in 2 years. No sales at all on ebid or PriceMinister, about the same on Ebay but with less stock listed that equals less sales overall and one sale in the past 2 months on Greenmet.
I'm listing new stocks several times a week across the sites and haven't had a sale from any site now since Friday morning.

>Is it me, is it the strikes?<
Strikes I'd say. My Amazon shop is on holiday, as I can't be doing with the hassle of lost items. And I'm only buying using Amazon Prime to get the courier delivery on Saturdays.0 -

Thanks for that. I assumed that as I was still buying, and usually getting items from various places including marketplace sellers in less than a week, I thought everyone was.
So far I don't have one single item sitting in my PO bag ready to go tomorrow, I have hopes of ebay tonight now but at this rate I will be cutting back on my Christmas holiday spending.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Don't really think this helps you soolin, but after an absolutely dire patch I had 6 Amazon books to post on Friday, one yesterday, and one sale so far today. When I say 'dire patch' I mean literally not a single sale for 3 weeks, and hardly anything in 6 weeks.
I'm still getting pending sales that don't happen for the same 2 books.0 -

Is it me, is it the strikes?
On my work accout I've had 28 sales in the last 7 days, this is actually a record high for us. We've got 1,600 listings on at the moment. Most sales have been toys and VHSNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
I've had 3 sales this afternoon, 2 of those though were ranked in the top 100 and I vastly reduced my prices to get those sales.
I've had a couple of sales on ebay as well so at least I have an excuse to go to the PO tomorrow.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
