I thought if you added a picture it was for everyone to see?? Its not specific to your listing, just goes on the product description page.0

Can you stick watermark text across your images?
Sort of like this:-

flipper - images for books, DVD's etc are provided by Amazon but I suspect solitude is selling furniture or housewares where an image library does not exist in Amazon.0 -
Hi
Is anyone else having problems accessing the buyer waiting lists? I was able to download them last week, but now when I click the download button it takes me back to my "seller" page.
Have been trying for 3 days is this a glitch at the moment?
It's not working for me either Becky.Operation House Move £11993.60/£25000 (47% achieved)

If you add pictures you have taken, then you hold the copyright for these and anyone else using them is breaching this. Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

Hi All
I'm new to this thread and would really appreciate some advice.
I've been selling on Amazon for about six months now and i'm encountering problems with another marketplace trader.
This trader sells similar items to me and has twice taken my images and text
on two best selling items.
This means that when someone looks at the page on Amazon it has my picture/ text/name but says dispatched and sold by these other people
which of course means i'm losing sales.
On my inventory it also comes up as being dispatched and sold by them
I'm not sure how they are able to lift my images and text and change it so it
is dispatched by them.
Even if they are selling a similar item it is not the same as mine as i make
and photograph all my own items.
As their items are of a cheaper quality it is also misleading to potential customers who are not getting the item they see but a cheap copy.
I'm worried that this will confuse customers.
How can i stop this happening and change it back as soon as i see it.
I tried to speak to Amazon about it today but they were very busy and promised to call back but never did.
I intend to make an official complaint but would really appreciate any
help/advice /SUGGUESTIONSetc.
I'm struggling as it is on Amazon as i'm a small seller ( or rather small business)
and this is the last thing i need.
Thanking you all in advance.

Whenever I've listed books that don't have pics its obviously an individuals pic that comes up on the product description page. Just for everyone to see.0 -

I do, it's a CueCat Scanner which I got off Ebay from a USA seller for under £10. Look a bit odd but works on all but the smaller printed barcodes and making life much easier (I'm not a Pro seller BTW) when inputting a batch of items.
Just received my CueCat scanner from the states. Scanned too slowly to start with and could not get it to read anything. After some trial and error found you need to swipe fairly quickly - around the speed you would swipe a mag stripe card through a reader. Works perfectly then.
Tried it in Amazon, Word and database software - works a treat.0 -

Still not working for me! I quite like sourcing items, on saying that sourced an item from Australia 2 weeks ago, it arrived today, absolutely filthy, not the same item as in their auction photo and a completely different track list!!!!I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

Hijacking the thread a bit here as it is not Amazon related but know a few of you experts sell on Ebay too! As some of you will know will be leaving my job very soon and hope to make a living from books.
Taken out a pro merchant account with Amazon, though for this month at least it wasn't worth it. Anyway on to Ebay, those of you that have an Ebay shop is it worth it? Are the fees less etc.
Thanks in advance

Does anyone know what happens if I failed to dispatch a book before the 2 days as stated? Will my account be suspended. Should I send the book or a refund?0
