hi guys, does anyone have any thoughts? I'm really desperate! Thanks

I can only go by what I have read on the seller boards and say that I think it is almost impossible to get reinstated when banned permanently. If you can still log in at all you could try asking on the boards over there to see if anyone can help?

Just a warning that the new Amazon 'paid when shipped' scheme is not recognising the bank holiday. So if you sold anything on Friday and didn't manage to ship it you well technically be late shipping it on Tuesday and a late shipment on Amazon is now considered a seller non performance. One of those for a small selelr and you risk suspension.

If you get any 'late shipments' due to this, or due to the fact that pendings are showing the original date for purchase so you can be late before you even get the SDN email, get in touch with Amazon CS and tell them. They will put a note on your account that you are not at fault and should not be penalised.

Do you know how many chances we get before being dumped? I was late sending one once

The old rules appeared to be quite lenient, for a start they had no idea when you shipped so had no way of actually recording how many went late. On this new system it is all done by computer, so basically we are doomed.

On the seller dashboard the rumours are of a seller being sanctioned at having between a 2 - 5 % late shipping rate (although CS will not confirm), so for a small seller one late shipment and you risk a suspension.

I like Amazon, I have a lot of stock on there and rely on it for my spending money, but it does make me smile when people moan about how bad ebay is, when Amazon can actually be much stricter!

The pendings though are a problem, I had one go pending just before Easter this year, it finally went to 'ship now' on the Thursday evening before Good Friday and my latest shipping date was that same day even though the Post office was closed for business, on the new rules that is a seller strike to me..which is why you must contact CS for each and every incident when this happens to get it noted on your records.

I've had a great weekend, just sitting here wrapping another few.

The odd thing is though that I have sold around 6 Kathy Reich books to different buyers this weekend, yet they have all been listed for at least 6 months without a previous sale! How weird is that? I am thinking i ought to do a Google search in case something has either happened to her or she has a new series or hit the headlines for another reason.
