Sockmonkey could you perhaps politely email all your other buyers who have not left feedback yet and give them a nudge and ask if they would leave you feedback. I assume they haven't left feedback as they were happy and just haven't bothered. For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.0

That's a good plan lilmiss I may well do that, thanks! I think this is just part of the learning curve, I jumped in with both feet without too much prep as it's quite a simple process setting up. Have been doing basic stuff that seems like a polite and professional way of going about things, but I guess I still have a fair old bit to learn - like not to panic when you get a piece of negative feedback, just take a step back and deal with it in steps. You tried to provide the best service and if someone is not happy then it's not due to lack of care. Not going to end up making a situation worse that way.
Ah well, it's now 28 sales in just over three weeks which is a pretty good start, just got to make sure I don't drop the ball again.

Be careful with sending out emails requesting feedback - some buyers can get really annoyed by them and you may not get the kind of feedback you hoped for . Don't forget that they will also receive a 'nagmail' after a few weeks from Amazon asking them to rate the transaction.
TBH getting between a 1 in 3 and 1 in 5 sellers leaving FB is about average for Amazon.
As an alternative, if you haven't done so, you could send a snail mail note to your buyer who left the original feedback politely explaining what happened, and asking them to remove their feedback as they may not have realised the negative effect it can have on a smaller seller. They may not have got your email [spam] or may not log on much etc etc.0 -

Hi Tirlittan,
well done on the sale, hope it continues... I had a VERY good fortnight but its all dried up again :-(
Once you confirm shipment, the funds should appear in your account within a few hours. Apparently Amazon now update payment accounts several times a day [bar glitches].0 -
Just had another sale!
I hope it continues like this for awhile, I'd be glad to get rid even of one box in total.

I'm not on charge on shipment yet but have decided that I will still send my own emails when I do switch over (assuming it is still possible) as I have had some lovely emails from buyers who have enjoyed the books and wanted to ask about others I would recommend!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi Soolin,
it is still possible, at the moment anyway - I've switched over and send them in some instances. Instead of calling it 'shipping confirmation' which amazon don't want us to send, I use the drop down menu and call it 'order information'... simples
Don't forget we will apparently all be getting our own amazon email address in the future too :eek:0 -
My latest email says that all of the rest of us will be switched 'next week', so it looks like I'm going to the wire on this.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
