    Well done Teapot!

Actually my conspiracy theory mind is going into overdrive now, I've just sold another book. 3 in just over an hour where I had less than that for the whole previous week.

Maybe we should restart the best book sales thread again so everyone can say which items they have sold for lots of money and then everyone can look out for copies. Would anyone use it or is everyone too competitive to post theirs? ;)

I sold some trading cards at work for £40 today - a display pack with some missing but I was chuffed to bits :)

2 books today so far, one over £10 so I'm pleased as at least I can cover my pro merchant fees.

3 work sales for me today - all to the same company so I reimbursed two of their postage fees as I posted them all together and they were only about £1.20 combined.

Does anyone else reimburse if someone buys more than one thing?

Its only happened a couple of times to me that anyone has bought more than one item. TBH I wouldn't part refund automatically because my prices take account of the postage especially on low priced books. I did put in an extra book in the same series for one buyer and the other I included a few stamps in the parcel as a refund with a note saying it was a good will gesture [rather than a refund]. If a buyer emailed before buying to negotiate and was interested in a few books I'd be willing to negotiate but I don't see why buyers would expect it automatically. I would also be concerned about refunding because too many refunds can affect your account. Other sellers will no doubt be along with entirely different views ;)
  • I don't refund automatically on multiple purchases either - doesn't it affect your 'refund ratios' so that you end up with a poor rating?

    FFM :)

I've no idea what a refund ratio is but will think twice about doing it next time
