Sorry, I didn't explain that very well. What I meant was, can I list books which do not have an entry on Amazon already?0

Console your self in the knowledge that on some of those sales we only made £10 profit after all deductions.

Arghh, I just sold a book and mine was listed as a paperback yet now the catalogue shows it as a hardback. Other than that it is all 100% correct, the right ISBN, cover photo, publisher and page count. I am careful to check the details before listing and can only assume this changed after I listed.
I have emailed the buyer and asked whether they want me to cancel the purchase or send the book.

Soolin, do you keep your 'Listing Confirmation' emails, it tells you on there if it was paperback/hardback at time of listing.
Not that it helps your predicament - but will at least confirm that you listed correctly.

That happened to me two weeks ago, luckily the lady buying it was happy with a paperback instead but I am sure I listed it correctly. I should check my listing too actually - will do on Tuesday when back at work
Hope it works out ok for you too soolinNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
They haven't replied so I will send the book tomorrow but add a note that if they are disappointed it is a paperback to just return it to me for a full refund.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Oh dear - being allergic like that must make life difficult as so many people wear strong scents and perfumes these days. Am not allergic but find if I'm on public transport going to work I sometimes feel I can hardly breathe with the cocktail of early morning smellies
Go luck with desmoking the books - did you get any cat litter or do you have a cat owning friend you could get some from? It really does help with absorbing the smells. Well done on the sale, hope they're a smoker and don't notice
Cheers teapot2 - it really is very difficult! I sent the slightly smoky book as sales are so dire I was grateful for anything! I have droped to 98% through one neutral feedback so don't know if its that or just some Amazon weirdness. People here seem to be reporting a real mixture so time will tell.:rolleyes:0
