Brilliant - have gone with the bicarb straight away to be getting on with and will investigate the cat litter (not being a cat owner!) when I shop. Can't go with the perfume option as I am allergic to fragrance and airfresheners - stops me going on holiday as hotel rooms are now a veritable smorgasboard of sprays and stinks  (sorry not really relevant just thought I would have a rant:D). You were quite right I listed these particular books then collecting realized that they smelt, was about to de-list and carry out these instructions when I've gone and sold one, its one thats not too bad so fingers crossed - if I email and mention it Im flagging up the problem and sometimes I find its best not to go looking for trouble:confused:

Oh dear - being allergic like that must make life difficult as so many people wear strong scents and perfumes these days. Am not allergic but find if I'm on public transport going to work I sometimes feel I can hardly breathe with the cocktail of early morning smellies

Go luck with desmoking the books - did you get any cat litter or do you have a cat owning friend you could get some from? It really does help with absorbing the smells. Well done on the sale, hope they're a smoker and don't notice :D

Nothing here either, for a week now, but I have made my first sale on the craft site Etsy, after 4 MONTHS, so won't be renewing any items there.

It seems a really glitch-prone site, and I did lose one other sale cos their equivalent of Ebay messages doesn't always pass on a buyer enquiry. It was worth a try, I guess, and with one sale I'm not out of pocket on listing fees.

3 sales since I left work last night - about the same as the rest of the week combined.

A couple of sales for me too :)

Hope I'm asking this question in the right place! I have just listed my first few books on Amazon Marketplace, but would also like to list older, non-ISBN books. Is there a way of listing currently unlisted items, or would I be better off sticking to eBay for these?

If you can find the book doing a search then you can list from the 'buying ' page, just make sure publisher etc is the same.

<sulking> probably around £80 in fees from those sales.
Quick question, can you do partial refunds on amazon?

Someone's bought something and wants to return it and we have to impose all kind off fees for that kind of monkey business.
What's the score with DSRegs on Amazon. I take it as you cannot impose your terms of sale you 'technically' have to follow DSRs to the book?

I notice A-to-Z is pretty favourable to the seller (when put in contex)
