I'm going to send the letter which I posted a copy of into this topic as above and enclose a cheque for £1 - I assume that I make the cheque payable to Lloyds TSB?
When/if they provide me with list of all of the insurance charges or statements, do I then find a template to try and reclaim?
Thanks again
Hi there,
Your all prepared then, that is good.
So this one you have requested for is for the copy of the agreement?
This should take 12 days to come back to you as from request.
Of course, also enclose a letter to ask if they would kindly send you any further documents such as statements, without the need of a SAR at this time.
If they are unable to do this, tell them you will appreciate it if they would confirm this to you.
Then we can move on with the PPI reclaiming when your ready to do so, this can be done anytime, let us know when your ready.
I think if I remember correctly its the address here, if not they should sent to the correct dept for you, you can ask them to do this on your letter for you.

Hi again
Hope the above post was helpful, now in regards to PPI reclaiming, here is the link here for further information on PPI mis selling and reasons etc, if any of them occur to you then add them in the letter, there is a letter reclaim template you will find on the link, but if you can use your own words, but obviously mention your own reasons, where they have 8 weeks to respond in full.
Again post by recorded delivery, you can check the tracking of this on the royal mail website, "track and trace", then you have proof of posting, plus keep a check on the 8 weeks they have to deal with this.
Another letter maybe required if not successful first time round, or until you exhaust their complaint procedures, they will let you know that in their final response where they should add a leaflet of the financial ombudsman service to take this further where they will investigate - free of charge as well, but keep us posted so we can help you every step of the way with this.

Hi,
The letter I'm going to send will read as follows:
I am writing to request a fully comprehensive list of all the insurance charges added to my account with Lloyds TSB. If you are unable to provide this data, I will accept copies of my statements. I understand that statements on their own are not covered by the Data Protection Act, yet I’m not requesting the statements per se, but the charges, which I’m entitled to.
I look forward to your response within 40 days, as is obliged under the Data Protection Act 1998. If not I shall seek remedy from the Information Commissioner.
I actually hadn't thought about it, but I probably should send this letter by recorded delivery too.
Once I receive a reply to this would you mind at all if I asked you for further assistance at that point too?0 -

Hi hun
So its to be expected approx 3rd or 4th April.....roundabouts that time, I know some do actually write to them nearer the time if you still not heard, just to remind them, say about 2 weeks before the expected date.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
