Very disappointed at your volunteering experience Vix - there must be somewhere out there that would really appreciate your wonderful self.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
nmm - maybe i should change then. I dont wanna be a walk in walk out person though, i'll see how it goes in a few weeks i think.0

Hi chaps,
Well, I am sat here feeling hungry, but it's far too late to be eating. Food has been OK, but very samey, not by design mind you. Dropped kids @ school then decided to drive up to my house to do a bit of sorting out there, wanted to dig out some bits to bring down to OH's, & do some measuring of some of my furniture too, so I can work out where it will/won't go.
I also needed to go to the church nearby to take flowers to my husband's grave, for his birthday today. I cut all the daffs in the garden & took them, so it looks like the spring fairy has gone a bit mental down there now!
I took a carton of 1% milk with me & a wholemeal nimble loaf & had toast for b/fast, sandwich for lunch. I don't do carbs much usually, so it was a bit unusual for me. So, here's todays food:
B - 4 slices nimble & apricot conserve
L - 4 slices nimble & peanut butter
D - quorn meatballs, wholewheat pasta (on my small plate)
Snack- 2 nairn's oat biscuits
I did lots of carrying & lifting of heavy boxes & furniture up/downstairs, shifting stuff into the car, moving things around in the loft, so I know I've done some physical work today.
I don't know about you lot, but I'm ready for the weekend! Hope you all have a great one guys! One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Thanks to everyone for their good luck wishes.
I am going to give this my best shot. I am concerned about maintaining but I will cross that bridge later on. This is the end of my third day and although I have had a couple of tough days I feel much better today and hopefully will hit Ketosis tomorrow and I will not feel hungry anymore. My friend is also doing it and we will hopefully support each other, she has been at it longer than me and can help me thru the pitfalls. I will let you know how I get on on Tuesday when I weigh in for my first weeks loss.
You are all still doing so well and I feel a bit of a fraud because you are all doing it the best way. I know this diet isn't the best way to lose weight but at this present time it is the best for me.
Night all
Take care0 -

BB could always do what friends of mine and Dr Dragon's did, they got Dr Dragon to take the video and I did the stills! (this was while I was still on one stick and not crutches! and Dr Dragon did the "Big" shots where you had to stand whilst everyone got themselves sorted - I did the "and this was the wedding day" shots!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

BB without sounding patronising I'm sorry to hear that the arthritis is all over. Thats a big fear of mine. One of my conditions is that I constantly click (as in i breathe and my back makes about 5 horrible crack/clicking sounds, knees and hips click/pop when i stand up meaning sometimes i fall back down lol) and dislocate. My physio said I'm already getting it in my fingers and will probably get it all over so I'm a bit worried about that, but even if I do get it it doesnt necessarily mean it will be really bad. Gotta be positive and all that jazz.
Back to weightloss. If (and its a big IF!) I manage to lose 1.5lbs this week then I would be UNDER the next stone barrier. Three people have told me how much slimmer I look, and I now have to wear a belt with all my trousers!Yay! I will have also lost almost 2 stone since last July, and hope to make that 2 1/2 stone by the time I go on holiday in June, meaning I will be that much lighter than I was on holiday last year! Am tired but in a happy mood tonight. Good luck staying on track tomorrow everyone.0 -

Morning:D went to see the comedien Jethro last night, OH thinks he is fab, me not so but hey ho he was funny and that is what counts:D
Feel a strong need for protein in the diet so am going to get a cooked chicken from Morrisons later and have some of that for dinner, the kids hate roast dinners so won't have to make it up to one just the chicken and veg etc, they pick so much at the xmas day dinner or if I spend hours i nthe kitchen making a full roast (the do like the home made yorkshires but so do I that is why I don't make them:rolleyes: ) that I have given up, my time is precious not to be appreciated:rotfl:0
