No workout tonight and feeling very grumpy because of it, onwards to tomorrow :rotfl:
NMM dont feel grumpy for not exercising, you have done sooo much lately, you are putting me to shame! Yeah the race for life is a bit of an incentive for me, I REALLY want to do it and feel fit, also I am raising money for cancer so that in itself will make me feel good for doing it. Theres myself and my sister and a few friends all taking part together! I will keep you all updated about my training for that...not that it's started yet, I'm waiting for the weather to be a bit milder then I will go out running on a night with Andy. I did Davinas Super Sculpt tonight, but have yet to add the extra bit in! I still find it VERY hard work just doing the workout! I cant imagine adding super legs in too! Oh and how much of a killer are front lunge and tricep kick backs?? Think that one will banish the bingo wings!! What's your fav/worst part of the dvd NMM? I love the leg raises then the kicks in the super fit one, but the knees up for four, kick your bum for four KILLS me!!

Victory thank you so much for your kind words! I know that taking small steps towards a MAIN goal helps. This is why I am breaking down my target to small mini goals, my first it 4th April. I am going for a meal with my work, and have seen a gorgeous dress I would love to wear and feel fab in!

Sarymclary, hope the meal out goes well, and well done on getting back into "those" jeans! Bet that felt great! I had a pair of "target" jeans, from when I was about 17 and I was desperate to get back into them, so much so, that infact I became OBSESSED! And everytime I tried them I was disappointed, i thought to myself I am NEVER EVER getting back into those, i felt like i'd have to saw a bit of my hips off! So in the end, i sold them! On ebay! Haha, and I felt great about it too!!! I was getting too hung up on them, and I figured, when I'm "happy" with the way I look, with my size, my shape, my body...am surely gonna wanna go out and buy a NEW pair of jeans! So thats what I'm going to do. I know this is mse...and realllly i should have "recycled" the old jeans...but I did sell them! And I will feel so proud to be able to walk into the shop and pick up a smaller size!!

Skitty my you are just a mass of knowledge aren't you :) andy gets S.A.D in the winter time, it's not nice. He is just so down and depressed. He LOVES the summer though!

Polkadot thanks for the advice, I am trying to pop in here twice a day, sometimes three! If I miss it and check in there has been soooo many posts to try and keep up with!

Missy thank you! I know now that i was just having an off day and I know i am appreciated, I have a gorgeous loving boyfriend who thinks the world of me, and he fell in love with me when I was two/three dress sizes bigger than what i am now! I should feel proud of what I've got because I have already came such a long way.

Tomorrow morning me and andy are going to get up, do davina super fit and then going for a long walk into the town its about a 40 minute walk there, and we are going to go to the park and get a newspaper! I have done all of my ironing tonight and cleaned the house so we can have a nice relaxing weekend!
Feeling much better now thanks to all of your lovely thoughtful comments! I'm glad I have somewhere I can come and chat!

Have a lovely weekend all! Sorry for the HUUUGE post!

andyslinz, hmm my fave/worst parts? Worst is definately the knees up for 4 and kick the bum for 4, sometimes my ankle hurts so i can't do that one. My fave is the can can, its just so much fun at the start of the workout :) I can do most of the moves like Davina, ie lunge forward then 2 kicks without putting my foot down but i wobble sometimes :rotfl: I look forward to hearing about the race for life training :j

Kay, sorry to hear its been tough for you but glad you didn't give in to temptation, enjoy your treat day, you deserve it :D

Hi DMV, I'm new, do you make the cousous yourself or do u buy a packet one? I used to eat Ainsley Harriots Roasted Veg Couscous, but i would have it with roast vegetables as well. I would roast some tomatoes, peppers, red onions and mushrooms in the oven with olive oil and garlic and then serve it with the couscous and rocket. I kinda copied off a version tesco sell in the deli part, but it is soooo yummy and filling, you're right! Think I might start making it again

I really dont like plain "natural" cous cous but aldi sell boxes for 79p which have two sachets in (supposedly for two people but I have a whole one as a meal, as opposed to half as a go with). At the minute they have a 50% offer so theres three sachets per box, bargain! The roasted veg flavour is 360kcal and 3.8g fat (1.4 saturates) per whole sachet and I'm not sure about the others but I have it on recommendation that thats the best flavour one, and its so gorgeous im sticking to it!

Well apart from hoovering and pulling out all the furniture I didnt get anything done yesterday. A huge electricity bill (think owing £700 over what we've been paying) really threw me and pulled everything else that was getting at me to the surface and resulted in spending half the day crying! Things like bills etc are ok because you can make a "plan of action" (which we did) but family things and past problems/incidents that wont seem to go away arent so easy to fix. ARGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH why cant life just be simple and happy?! On the upside OH decided I needed to get out of the house so I did my hair and make up and we went to the cinema, which definitely cheered me up so the day ended on a good note. I may of had some chocolate tho...a natural anti depressent of course!

we owed £498 over on elec and gas but they mananged to transfer some of the debt to the gas and paid off £200 on the elec, very shocked so I know how you feel, I was really annoyed because they never told me for 6 months:rolleyes:
People seem to be struggling and I know it can be hard but in the end it is all worth it, every day towards your goal weight is one day less:D just think you will never have to repeat it because when you are slim and can fit into any thing your heart desires you will be so pleased with yourself you will never let the weight come back on again, remember nothing tastes as good as being slim feels;)

Morning everyone, hope you've all been good :D

I'm reporting a 1.5lb loss this week, quite pleased with that, although I did put on 2 lb last week so it's not that brilliant. I stuck to my diet for 4 days, but then found the opened box of chocs in the cupboard and had [strike]2[/strike] [strike]3[/strike] 4 :o. Plus we had a takeaway curry last night  so it could have been better.

I'll try harder this week, promise!!

i got a stonker of a gas bill this week too. normally we'd have the heating on when we were at home at weekend but today we haven't. We had a Big Talk last night and i think we may be a step closer to getting a dog. I really wanted a poodle, but OH can't get past the pompoms so we're thinking about a cocker spaniel. Probably october-ish, and I'm going to save my leave for it. Been reading all over the t'internet and getting some seriously conflicting advice. Anyone on here who works full time and has a dog? I keep just getting all this holier than thou stuff about how cruel it is to leave a dog by itself for more than 3 hours, but then i think about how many people work full time and think that it must be normal to leave the mduring a working day?

    anyway, this was yesterdays plan

weetabix with 1spoon maple syrup, milk, oj
    cn cornflakes, milk, apple
sausage and mash with bovril gravy, glass tom juice

which went completely off piste with stressy-stressness at work

weetabix with 1spoon maple syrup, milk, oj
    broccoli croissant and bag mccoys
sausage and mash with gravy, glass tom juice
    peanut kitkat, antipasto, biscuit, cheseburger

Feeling v ashamed of myself. I've just done the full hour with claire from steps and todays plan is

    cocopops, milk, oj
    cn cornflakes, milk,
lamb shank pie(i'll let oh eat most of the pastry) with gravy, oven chips, peas, glass tom juice
