Some good news my new fridge freezer arrived it's huge compared to my old one, upon putting the shopping away i noticed that i buy way too much chocolate even OH commented oops, will change that from next shop, my excuse is that it has to last 2 weeks so looks worse than it is :rotfl:

HI BB OH has an extremely (annoying!) good pallette and can taste the difference between EVERYTHING. He also taught me to cook, so in a way is very spoilt because he gets everything exactly how he likes it! I have ordered some quorn suasages to be delivered on the next shop, and am amazed at how low calorie they are! If they are nice then I will be definitely getting them again. I will try to find some (yummy) healthy meals that I think we will both like, and then stick extra meat etc on it for him if necessary. Tonight for example I am having frittata (eggs, potato, peppers, onions and a little cheese) which he is having also, but with two chicken breasts wrapped in cheese and bacon.
Some more meals like that I think. I budget about £120 a month on everything food/cleaning etc wise so not the tightest budget like some students. OH eats a lot of meat tho, so my "section" of the budget will be less than half! Thanks for all the messages, I definitely need this thread to be able to do this.0 -

We used to go to the eat as much as you like restaurants now we go to the harvester, we used to order a chinese meal deal for 4 and there was only 2 of us, we used to have fried foods, fish in batter, now we have the kids portions with a sausage, we used to go to macs all the time but now I have subway and they have macs, we used to have the 4 piece sandwiches for lunch up to 650 cals in just that with crisps, now it is salad with tuna or soup and sugar free jelly, all has changed but bacon butties are my absolute favourite, I do have them still but just one and always now throw the dripping away before used to put it all on the toast (best bit) and belly pork:D0 -

 Flaming will power - must remember not to leave it at home next week! Been out for two meals this week and tried to be sensible and now I've just eaten too many hot cross buns  Add to that my very limited exercise this week (due to work/post work exhaustion/ sore legs from weekend run) and I will be lucky if I haven't gained this week.0
