Hi Raph, thanks for the chart, but I think I must have fallen off the bottom of page 1 http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=19017131&postcount=40
I have to show off as I've had such lousy results recently.

Hi Raph - well done for the chart LOL at the monent you must have suddenly remembered it:rotfl: . Yes, the 5 weeks are for longer months, so just ignore it as you have done for this month.
Can't remember if I mentioned it, but for next month, you now need to copy and paste the 'total loss column D in to the last column (not shown on the forum chart) so next month you start off wiith the right figures.
Granny congrats on SOTWand well done bindi:T .
dmv :hello: - I think you will do well with working out some different menus - one thing I have learnt from my having lived twice as long is that it does take time to work out stuff, like how to eat well and effectively for you, and it took me a lot longer to learn to cook than it has done you. So I think you are doing well, and the next stage of learning will be about finding good food that satisfies both of you. This will be sometimes eating a bit differntly to each other and sometimes some crafty ingredients that give tasty meals but cut down on the calories. Difficult as your OH has such a fine pallete but it would be great if he was up to the challenge of say, working out 2 meals that worked for both of you. Oh, and my OH is really really clever - has managed to work it so I do all the cooking and pay for it:rotfl: . Ah, the mysteries of love.
Oh, and quorn sausage -I've grown to like them, and have a quorn burgher with poached egg most mornings for breakfast. Yum.
If cleaning on a budget, can I recomend stardrops (67p in asda) and white spirit and a couple of spray bottle you fill yourself - tips I got from the 4k challenge and both are excellent and sooo cheap.
I also by two free range chickens (£12)from the butcher every month - the butcher cuts them into 8 for me and I get 15-16 portions out of them and the taste is so much better than standard ones we eat less of it too. This would add flavour for your OH without added fat. With mince meat for cottage pie, I always add lentils with are healthy so you don't lose the meat flavour but are eating less meat. I don't top with potato but mashed celeriac and carrot and swede - so more veg instead of carby potatoes. Really tasty.
buttonmoons - sorry you're feeling at big fed up with how much you have to cope with healthwise at 21. I think it is tough to be young and have to deal with these things and you have my sympathy. It will be no comfort to know that sometimes I feel like that at twice your age:o . I could go on about all sorts of wise things I have learnt along the way but that would be highly tedious of me and way too 'old and wise' for someone in denial about being middle aged.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Brighton belle~ I could fall out with you~we are not really middle aged are we ?
