Buttons what a horrible experience. I really get on tippee toes about doctors. I want to SCREAM about how wrong the system is! I'm sorry to hear that you were treated that way.
Missy Thanks for the link. can I put on my signature "Personal weight loss consultant: Missy" ?
It is 18H25 and I still have 3 children. Downstairs STILL hasn't been collected and the funny thing is...the youngest one (visitor) is the most helpful:rotfl:she's had the other two doing tidy up time. And I do not expect DF home until about 21H00 at least...I also have not yet found his house keys. I have managed to get the lounge and bedroom looking approachable at least but the kitchen and bathroom are hopeless causes. I have NO idea what to do about supper either.

nhs blog doctor has been posting about alli - he makes some very good points that it tells you eat a healthy diet with no more xxg fat and it' promises to save 1/3 on that - effectively it's like not eating 1 chocolate bar. it is half strength so prob not worth bothering with. I've set myself a sw date - bank holiday monday will be my first day. think i might start with a red day bbq! i've now got this week to sensibly prepare - so not replacing fruit juice, picking up bovril for stock, sorting out HEB breakfast cereal, stocking up on quorn . . . quite excited!

My pedometer is the best one I've ever had ... Omrom Walkingstyle II. Bought from amazon for about £14. MUCH more expensive than I've ever paid before but I'd heard good things about it. For expample it doesn't give additional steps just because you jiggle it (eg when pulling trousers up and down in the loo), it seems to give a really consisitent reading, it records aerobic exercise (i.e walking for more than 10 minutes at a reasonalbe pace) separately, it has an extra clip so it doesn't fall off and get lost, you can wear it round your nbeck, clipped on to a bag, on/in your pocket .....

Can you tell that I quite like it?

I know I am being childish but....x-raph please can I go back on the chart? If I had been on the chart htis week I would have lost 2.4kg and been SOTW, I know I am a maintainer and have no rights but I feel side lined (my own personal choice) can't cope without seeing me on the chart, scared it will all be wasted and will give up:rolleyes: sorry for the inconvenience
Haha, certainly you are allowed back on :)

Raphael - absolutely not taking anything away from Hannah's fab loss (great stuff Hannah!!!!), but doesn't your 5.1lb off make YOU the slimmer of the week? Are you being modest?

Well yes technically I was SOTW, but I figure that cos I'm now maintaining I'll gain it all again this week! I'm not really aiming to keep losing, so I'm not celebrating losses, just keeping an eye on the general pattern IYSWIM. :p

My pedometer from there does not wiggle either, not top of the range but gives good reading the prob is it sits more in the draw than on me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
My brother is trying to arrange a family meal out and keep emailing me how awkward he thinks I am etc because it is for 9pm and with the insulin I cannot eat that late at night used to be able to pre diabetic but it has changed, he cannot or will not understand and is hassling/bullying me to have a sandwich and wait, the more I try to explain to him it is not that easy and I am not being difficult the more he goes on:rolleyes:

Makes sense :) I don't see my losses as 'slimming' either, so I would probably be the same.

Congrats Hannah on SOTW (and well done Raph anyway) :p

Have a great weekend everyone x
