Sorry granny I have no suggestions...Im feeling the same as you and think im gonna have to put my dressing gown on so I dont jump in the car and buy junk! After a really great day yesterday I have struggled with work today and as a result am gonna have to do tons tomorrow, so now feel quite rubbish about it all. I wont list the food that I want to buy as I dont want anyone elses cravings to flare up, but its very high calorie and screaming at me to buy them!
Ok think I have been very unhelpful lol, sorry! Have you tried brushing your teeth tho, that sometimes works.0 -
Granny see descaling wouldnt work for me because I use bicarb and vinegar. The only chemicals we have in the house are star drops-I keep a few bits to make wet wipes. DS and I have very sensitive skin so I try to use natural stuff as much as possible. Coffee sounds good though...which reminds me Missy thats one of my cheats. If we go out to a pub and everyones drinking and I feel like I can't have any more vodka or gin...I ask for an irish coffee, but ask that they "hold the irish". So to everyone else around it seems you're still drinking but they leave you alone. I started doing it when I was pregnant. We always went to one pub and all the regs were like family. I would have an "irish coffee" without the irish using decaf coffee...I never felt deprived. Although it must be said that after I delivered DS, my dad did come by the hospital with a 500ml coke with a double brandy in it:rotfl:0

What do YOU eat when you feel this way?
..
one or two giant chocolate buttons. theyre kept in the freezer so must be sucked as too cold to bite. also much more hassle to get them out since my freezer drawers never want to open or close easily. by the time ive gone through the hassle of getting one, shutting the freezer and eaten it the craving has gone. ir alternatively a low sugar boiled sweet works. if i refuse to eat something nice i just end up eating way more other stuff instead and still want something nice.0 -
Alert~Do not buy the new Mikado snack sticks as they are seriously moreish:eek:

Evening all,
Granny - I find trying to keep busy, painting toenails, drinking lots of tea, having a yogurt with some fruit, anything like that helps to keep the cravings at bay. Thankfully I'm so busy at the mo that I haven't much time to think about anything. The other thing I find makes time go fast, and me not think of eating is reading a good book.
Polka - I've still got everything crossed for you!
Vixstar - brilliant news on the size 12! Yay for you! that's my next milestone to aim for, so my motivation is still working!
Well today I have been a very busy bee, again. I am delighted to announce my house if finally empty of possessions! whooohooo! Now all we have left to do is dismantle a summer house that I'm giving to my coalman, and clear the garden, plus I am taking up my wood floor to re-lay here. It is such a relief to finally have everything out of there. We both worked really hard again today, but it was the final push, and I've hoovered through and it looks much nicer for the next tennant than it did when I first walked in there, because it was totally minging! I made an executive decision, after having a busy old week, that I was having a night off from cooking, and we had a chinese takeaway for tea, which we shared with the children, and have plenty left over to have for our tea tomorrow too. Not bad for £22, feeding us lot for 2 days. So, food has been rather 'off plan', but the activity levels are such at the moment, that I really don't feel it's able to affect things right now. We deserved a little treat, and not cooking tea is a lovely treat for me.
Anyway, here's my food for today:
B - porridge
L - bacon roll
D - chinese - I ate until I felt satisfied, not stuffed
Hope the sun has managed to shine on you all today.
Granny - step away from the biscuit tin!One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -

Sary - well done on having the house completely clear now, that chinese was definitely deserved!
Well I made a fairly good food choice to satisfy my cravings! For pancake day I bought a small jar of nutella. Now when it was TOTM or I had a mega choc craving i used to eat a whole jar of that (with a spoon!) over a few days so to still have half a jar is a huge achievement. I weighed out 80cals worth of that and dipped lovely hard fresh grapes in it. Made a little go a long way, and was very yummy!
BB - hope things get easier for you soon.0
