Hi all, I'm annoyed with myself cos I just can't seem to get motivated!
My run is coming up but I can't seem to get the drive to get out and train. It's the same with my saxophone too, I haven't touched it for about a week! There is a jazz festival in Plymouth 1st -10th of May, so hopefully that will get me inspired!

Hi all, dont think I posted yesterday as was a manic (but productive) day and when I finally sat down had the most amazing catch up with an old friend who was like my brother growing up, so overall a fantastic day. Spent far more than expected in asda but bought loads of fresh fruit (i need to develop cheaper taste, only apples I like are the pink ones!) so that will have to be okay. Had the most bizarre tempting cravings when I was walking round, like I never eat cheese but soo wanted it, and cookies, choc, muffins...all sorts! Avoided them all tho!

OMG my 15 year old cat is throwing herself at my tropical fish tank, so funny! Right back on topic lol...

Didn't buy my fave choc bar in the end, and will still give away the box I was given.

SARY - I think I could ignore most boxes of choc but not these as they really are my absolute faves, so safer just to get rid! You have also inspired me with getting rid of your old clothes. Next weekend I will give everything that is too big for me to wear (still have some clothes that are big but ok to wear with belts etc) to a family member as will be a positive step to keep me on track.

GRANNY (I think!) - Have looked at that pedometer and will order it as one of my birthday presents from OH. Thanks for the recommendation!

Right I guess I better get on with stuff, have a good saturday all.

Raph I find if I force myself to go out I enjoy the run and it motivates me to go again. Can't help with the saxophone I haven't touched my violin in months and we won't even go there with regards my language course!

I having a happy day as I'm wearing a pair of size 12 jeans for the first time in at least 12 years. I can't fit all size 12s but I don't mind as I'm not aiming for a size 12 as I don't want to have to replace all my clothes.

    Gosh where is everyone today?

I am having one of those days where I feel [STRIKE]depraved[/STRIKE] deprived. I want something nice to eat, by which I mean, I think, high fat/salt/sugar and generally bad for me. Sugar free jellies, angel delight, fruit, rice cakes just don't fill the gap. What do YOU eat when you feel this way?

Please respond .... spending time here means I can't go and cut a huge lump of cheese .... it's calling me ...

    Hi everyone
Raph sending "Mote" your way. Hope he doesn't grate your teeth like he does mine.
    Missy Enjoy your evening out.
Granny :beer:big cuddles from the waddler:beer: Thank you very much. I asked his dad (the biological kind who is visiting in June) if he would join us since its on the 13th and he will still be in the UK. Told him it would take three hours tops...his answer: "Well Im not sure because there's so much I want to do...I want to try get a slot to spin some vinyl at a club... and I want to go to Preston to see my cousin's new baby"!!! Am I on the wrong end of the stick here or am I right to be so upset?

We just went out and bought a four tier greenhouse-for my cake decorating equipment:rotfl:Also got a set of plastic drawers for my "office stuff" I'm really hoping to sort out some of the house tomorrow. I want to try to make some "two tone cupcakes" over the week end...practice for the fair... and a "sample" for the bride to be in DF's office.

I've not done well for eating since yesterday.. and I'm sure I've gained. We did a lot of walking today and I was feeling like I was close to TOTM, but I'm not cramping. And I'm 14 days past ovulation-with 12 emps above the coverline. I'm really struggling because they advise to wait until 18 days past ovulation to test...thats Wednesday and it feels like forever away. I'm trying not to eat to while away the waiting-but its TOUGH.

Granny I've been thinking the same all day (post below). I've not been very good at staying away today but I thought just talking to you might help the both of us. Just said to DF I think I need some ginger tea or something...but I'm craving coke. I think the only real thing that's keeping me off it is the concern of the luteal phase-and kinda keeping the mindset that I need to look after myself as if I were pregnant anyway.

    Hey everyone.

Was such a nice day earlier OH's parents came down and we took DD to the beach, spent two hours just walking along it and up and down the sand dunes. Me and OH had a bet to see who could run up the top of a MASSIVE dune the fastest, it felt like the eliminator from Gladiators and I beat him! Ok he did slip but HAH!

We then went to Costco's and we picked up a nice pizza, it's MAHOOSIVE though, but I have not eaten 1 thing today and I was more active than usual so what the hey, think I'll have a SMALL loss this week but I accept it's going to come off alot slower and I *HAVE* allowed myself much more treats etc, which I'm going to try and cut back on, but I'm not being obsessive about it. I'm still overweight but I'm now into size 14's and I don't feel like a huge fatty anymore so :)

    Thanks for the speedy response!

Well I can't use the same reason as you ..... fingers crossed for the outcome you're hoping.

I'm going to have a cup of coffee and then do something that keeps me busy - probably clearing out a cupbaord and then descaling the bathroom taps. Won't stop me wanting to eat but descaler smells so horrible it might just help.
