Well good day for me as I worked a late and that seemed to work wonders for my eating plan as I didn't feel hungry all day, very strange eating out of sync! Also spent 3 hours scrubbing pushchair plinths so must have burnt a good few calories doing that, not to mention the 30 mins on the wii fit earlier. Training at Mercedes tomorrow so will be intresting to see what they feed us for lunch, yummy but tres fattening sarnies no doubt...eeek!

BB fingies crossed for you OH.

All this talk of pancakes is making me want some but as I only finished work at 10pm not the greatest idea maybe tomorrow.

Well done to all the loosers and STS'ers keep at it, for everyone else don't give up (((Hugs))).

    Flying visit tonight.

I've just had to read back through 4 pages just to catch up!

Welcome to more newbies! I can only echo all the good advice, and suggestions that posting here really does help, but you have to stick with it through the good times and the bad. We all have our losses, gains and stay the sames!

Busy day again - we've stripped the inside of the shed. I got the job of taking all the insulation out, so I'm itchier than two itchy things in an itchy pod! That fibreglass is a nightmare! My OH almost dropped a crowbar on my head by accident, then he slipped on the stepladder, and fell onto a beam awkwardly, and reckoned he'd cracked a rib! I think he was just being a big wuss, so he's having to be a big brave soldier! It's been hard going, and on our feet, lifting, carrying, etc all day.

    Food :
    B - porridge
    Morning snack - 1 ryvita
    L - chunky veg & beef soup
    Afternoon snack - 2 ryvita
D - chicken breast, chunky mixed veg

I made pancakes for the children, and they had so many I was cooking them for over half an hour in a steady flow of more and more! They ate the lot with sugar, lemon juice or golden syrup. Thankfully, I can't stand them, so I could happily cook those all day and never be tempted.

Well done on the losses/STS guys. My weigh in is tomorrow morning - I need to shift just 2 ounces to get to my first goal (sneaked a peek today).... fingers crossed!

Gotta go to bed, because I have an achy head, and sore eyes due to the fibreglass.

Will post this week's result tomorrow.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home
  • reporting a 0.6kg loss yay! really pleased, don't think i've had a loss that good in ages. A reminder that I can do it if i pull my finger out and really focus. I've started some sewing again recently which i'm sure is helping - i can't slump and eat whilst sewing, which is easy when reading or watching tv.

    Yesterdays plan was:

    CN cornflakes, milk and OJ
    cocopops, milk and apple,
    cup soup
leftover potato bake, 2 vegeburgers, tom juice

The half vegeburger thing worked which was really good. I actually ate

    CN cornflakes, milk and OJ
    cocopops, milk and apple
4 spoons of custard(panel) couple of croutons, 2 small slices salami
leftover potato bake, 2 vegeburgers, glass tom juice x 2

relatively pleased with that. The potato bake reheated very well, so i will make it again but try and make it healthier, and also only do it when i've room int he freezer for a few portions!

    Todays plan:

    CN cornflakes, milk and OJ
special k oaty, milk and apple
    cup soup
moroccan chicken with couscous(ainsley dinner kit)

have a great day folks! hope you're feeling less itchy now sary

My wrist has gone, the pain is intense with arthritis but still going to do steps because I will not swing my arms just do the steps:rotfl:

  • pokey your menu sounds healthy and yummy - go you! what do you do with your aduki beans? i've got a pack in the cupboard and am looking for inspiration . . .

Thanks! Not sure how long it will last though!
As for the Aduki beans- I tend to chuck them in soups and stews etc normally but last night I just chucked them in the pan with the mushrooms and chicken and it seemed to work ok.
I normally soak the beans and cook them then store in the freezer so I can grab some when I need them. They are supposed to help with weightloss (can't remember why though!)

Ooh, they are also good whizzed up with garlic as a dip/spread
