    Okay....I'll stop now.....LOL

On a more food related note - I got some potato fritters from the chip shop and really wish I hadn't eaten them, I forgot how greasy they were, can feel the slime on the roof on my mouth. Tasted nice though :)
  • BM - yeuch to both

Katarina - you are being way too hard on yourself. I am an sw fan and it took me at least 3 week to get to grips with their system and I looked at the book a dozen times a day. I lost nothing the first week and 2 stone in the next 6 months without exercise (coz I couldn't). And I didn't 'feel' skinnier til I had lost about 10lbs. Honestly - give yourself a bit of time and focus on the longer term. 2 months will go quickly and as your learn the plan and stick to it better you will lose wait. Honest xx

BAck later or tomorrow peeps. Been a long, but fab day.

Put me down for STS this week please.
Take care all and have a good week

Right roast chicken dinner done, and I feel ridiculously achey and stiff and sooo dont wanna do the uni work that still needs doing! I ate more roast potatoes than i should of with dinner, but didnt stuff myself silly so feel nicely full but not stuffed. Am going to force myself to try to get this work finished within half hour, and then watch desperate housewives with a milky way all curled up on the sofa with my very tired doggy. Like nmm we had a lovely walk and fun in the sun today, and saw soooo many people and dogs that I actually had a real laugh and she was running round like a maniac so we are both exhausted. May pop back later, if not I shall post before I leave for my first day back at uni which means my life gets a whole lot busier again!

hi all, sorry i've been so absent but i've just been so horrendously busy that there's been no time for even reading, let alone posting, plus i've been eating really badly. Still i hope it's all out of my system now, there's nothing left in the house thats bad, and today is day one! Had a frustrating day yesterday trying to get hte tyre on my trailer mended, what a faff. Still haven't succeeded either. btw, had to laugh that i've been away for like a week, and come backto find people talking about bowel movements. what a surprise.

We had a chinese last night first time in ages, really excited about it and it was in the bin soon after, very greasy, not nice, cookend in a very old fat by the taste, strange tasting, not enjoyable so won't bother going there again, cals saved though:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

kata diets, weight loss whatever name you put to it are hard and week one is a shock but stick with it it is worth it and it does get easier, it will all come together, it takes practice, patience, it is going to work for you:D

buttons hope the sobbing helped, que sera sera, maybe you will not get this one but you may get a better one instead:D

  • Morning all. I know I'm gonna forget something from all the posts yesterday..
granny - how stunning to now be in size 14's:j.
All you struggling newer peeps - it is so worth hanging round on this thread, as half a dozen of us can testify: losing weight is a marthon not a sprint and changing habits can be done in stages but it can happen.

Beanie - I'm really glad you spend some money on a good haricut: feeling good is such a boost to morale and energy and will have many spin offs. Lovely to hear you had a fab day.

I was busy yesterday helping on a National Trust open day selling cakes. I love it: you get to make so many people happy and I have no temptation at all as I don't like sponge:D. OH was taking people of archaoelogical tours of the place (was in doomsday book). So we both had fun.
We did have fish and chips when we got home though. I hadn't planned ahead with the slow cooker and no way was I up to cooking. They were very nice.
    Definitely a day one today.

kpc - good to hear from you.
BM - really sorry to hear about the bungalow. Hope you had a good cry to help you over the disappointment. Keep optimistic for a better place to live. Apart from the disorder, do you get on with your OH's family?
Victory - great stuff on finding an open day:j. Look forward to hearing more.
Missy - I'm still buying half fat cheese but may stop doing that soon. And no longer buy low fat fruit/flavoured yogurts as they add stuff to them to. When started on weight loss 2 years ago I had loads of muller light yog's: it was the right thing for me to do at the time- they were 'free' on sw. but after I joined the 4k challenge I started cutting my grocery budget and I could bare the price after the that:rotfl:. Now I make my own natural yog every week with an easy yo and use it for cooking and everything and it much healthier.
Annie - glad you feeling bit better. Good luck with the next test.

Morning all. Just a quick post before I rush off to have cereal, walk the dog and then rush off to uni, where I wont finish till 7pm! Will then have to get the dog out again when I get back, so depending how hungry/tired we are at 8.30 dinner may be a chicken kebab for OH with left over chicken and cous cous for me or a jambalaya, I will decide on my way home.

Work took longer to do than expected last night, but its done now. I dont have much to say food wise today, except I have decided I would like to see a loss this week, despite the take away and drinking. I only report loses of at least 1/2 a lb and dont count 1/4lbs so that means I need to lose at least 1/2lb this week to get be under the half stone mark. I think I will have to do some jogging and boxing tomorrow along with my usual walking to try to help me along the way. Have a good diet day all. BB good luck with day one!
