    Morning all!

Glad you're better Victory! :D I'm housebound today & tomorrow, having some work done on the house.

Not a daft question at all Victory, I'm very careful about my intake and exercise balance. I try to leave my body sufficient basic calories to work with once exercise ones are taken off (averaged over a week). Taking a rough average I'll consume 1700 in a day, exercise off 350 and be left with 1350. This is above my BMR so my body should have all it needs to function properly and stay healthy :)

There are some hard exercise days when I struggle to eat enough to keep that balance, but the absolute lowest it might go is about 800 or so once a week - it's never anywhere near minus figures. I will generally see a small weight gain after these 'low net calorie' days, which is something I'm trying to sort out at the moment (not as easy as it sounds).

Vixstar, I'm lucky because I do have some wonderful jogging (and walking) options practically on my doorstep, though much of it I wasn't aware of before :o. I'd suggest buying the Ordnance Survey Explorer Map(s) for your area and look for the green dotted/dashed line footpaths/bridleways and shaded areas which are free access land - I was amazed at all the different rights of way that I never knew existed!

Most of my jogging does start from my front door but a couple of times a month I make a special trip (doesn't need to be far) and start somewhere different, or I combine it with something else that I'm doing anyway :) I can jog or walk in different areas if I'm visiting people, doing errands, or taking my son somewhere, etc. I'm definitely hooked :p

Hey folks - Diet has went truly out of the window today, I won't even TELL you what I've eaten but it's deffo over 2000calories  Ahhh I suck.

Soup for the rest of the week!!

Woke up this morning with - Conjunctivitus AGAIN, can you believe it? 3 times in 3weeks - W T F

Got right on the phone to specsavers and they fit me in today, it could be the new contraceptive pill I'm on causing my eyes to be less tolerant off the contact lens' (It does say thats a side effect) hence giving me bogey eyes, but they were trying to get me to go up to the hospital, as you are supposed to go if your lens' give you infections, I said no way, Aberdeen A & E is TERRIBLE, when I miscarried DD's twin I was in the waiting room for 4hours, and got tutted at for leaving blood on the floor - Oh sorry about that!

So got some eyedrops, 4 times a day I've to drip them in, lurrrvly.

Hope everyone has had a good diet day and stayed away from Mcdonalds and M&S food - Unlike me!
  • Buttonmoon - make sure that you are changing the pillowcases everyday.

And keep all your towels seperate. The pillowcases are the most important as you are touching these all night.

Sorry if you know this already,Moonflower

Yeah I have been, I'm not reinfecting myself from those, it's just my eyes conjuring it up itself whenever my lens' go in!

I also changed onto new packs of contact lens' when I had it, so those weren't infected either. Must be the pill!
  • Thats horrid it make you feel awful doesnt it.Hope that you feel better soon.Good luck at the opticians and the new? pill
